Answer: Gravitational potential energy

Explanation: In simple words, gravitational potential energy refers to the energy that an object possess because of its position in the gravitational field.

Thus, if we raise an object to a height its position will change leading to gravitational energy. Gravitational energy is a function of height.

Thus, we can conclude that the last option is correct.

Rice and celery must have a good deal of moisture in order to grow well, but rye and cotton grow best where it is relatively dry
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

The conclusion does not follow the statement as it does not satisfy the conditions mentioned in the statement.

Explanation:

 • From the description given of the moisture and temperature conditions of Malabo, it can be concluded that the weather in Malabo is humid.
 • For the crop of rice to thrive, it is important that the weather is humid. But for the growth of celery, cotton, and rye, humid weather is not considered to be good. Hence, we can say that the weather in Malabo is favorable for the growth of rice only.

pshichka [43]

Answer:

I think the central idea of the passage is that the family Otzi's father is common in Europe.

Explanation:

My justification for my answer is that his DNA kind of matched the one of the people living in the Neolithic Age. This shows that maybe he was a descendant of those people.

I think the first answer is wrong because people of the Neolithic Age were from the past and I don't think DNA existed by then.

And the think the second is wrong because his mother's family was just rare it wasn't complex.

Finally the last is wrong because the DNA wasn't so hard to test it was also easy to compare it because there were other samples to be compared with.

That leaves us with the last answer as correct.
