Answer:

The quadratic equation form is x² - 9 x + 14  = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Given in the question as ,

The solution of quadratic equation are x = 2   and x = 7

The constant K is a non-zero number

Now , let the quadratic equation be , ax² + bx + c = 0

And  sum of roots = \frac{ - b}{a}

       product of roots = \frac{c}{a}

So, 2 + 7 = \frac{ - b}{a}

Or, 2 × 7 =  \frac{c}{a}

I.e \frac{ - b}{a}  = 9     ,     \frac{c}{a} = 14

Or,  b =  - 9 a           And c = 14 a

Put this value of b and c in standard form of quadratic equation

I.e ax² + bx + c = 0

Or, ax² - 9 ax + 14 a = 0

Or , a ( x² - 9 x + 14 ) = 0

∴ a = 0   And  x² - 9 x + 14 = 0

Hence ,  The quadratic equation form is x² - 9 x + 14  = 0      Answer

Of the bundles delivered daily to the store, 1/3
Triss [41]

Answer:

x=9

Step-by-step explanation:

Let total bundle=x

Morning edition of the daily sun=1/3x

=x/3

Afternoon edition of the daily sun=2

That leaves 2x/3 - 2, of which

x/3 - 1 are regional

1 is local

1 from another state

Sum everything

x = x/3 + 2 + x/3 - 1 + 1 + 1

x=2x/3 +3

x-2x/3=3

3x-2x/3=3

x/3=3

Cross product

x=3×3

x = 9

What is the quotient? 2m+4/8÷m+2/6
Marizza181 [45]
For dividing rational expressions such as the one given, we use the same concept that we use when dividing fractions.

Thus, we multiply the first expression with the second expression's reciprocal as shown below.

\frac{2m+4}{8}\div\frac{m+2}{6}
\frac{2(m+2)}{8}\times\frac{6}{m+2}

We can cancel common factors and simplify the product. Hence, we have

\frac{2(6)}{8}
\frac{3}{2}

Therefore, the quotient of the expressions is equal to 3/2.

You are given a bag of coins with varying biases.the probability of heads is a random variable sample from uniform distribution
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Suppose I have a bag of n biased coins, and I sample without replacement m<n of them, and measure each coin i for their parameter pi∈[0,1], that is each coin is Bernoulli(pi). Now I would like to ask what is the most likely pm+1 on the next coin I pick. I am not sure how to answer this question aside from taking the mean of all m coins' parameter so far. That is: p^m+1=p1+…+pmm.

When a data value is converted to a standardized scale representing the number of standard deviations the data value lies from t
ludmilkaskok [199]

Answer:

a. z-score.

Correct as we can see on the the z score measure how many deviations a value x is from the mean.

Step-by-step explanation:

Previous concepts

Normal distribution, is a "probability distribution that is symmetric about the mean, showing that data near the mean are more frequent in occurrence than data far from the mean".

The Z-score is "a numerical measurement used in statistics of a value's relationship to the mean (average) of a group of values, measured in terms of standard deviations from the mean".

And is defined as z = \frac{x-\mu}{\sigma}

a. z-score.

Correct as we can see on the the z score measure how many deviations a value x is from the mean.

b. range.

False the range is defined as R =Max-Min and can't measure the deviations that the data lies from the mean

c. variation.

False that's a measure to see the dispersion but not to see the deviations that the data lies from the mean

d. mean.

False the mean is a measure of central tendency to see a midpoint on the data

The perimeter of a rectangle equals one and a half times its area. Express the length of the rectangle in terms of the width (us
WITCHER [35]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let x and y be length and width of rectangle.

Perimeter=2(x+y)

area=xy

2(x+y)=1/2 xy

4(x+y)=xy

4x+4y=xy

x y-4y=4 x

y(x-4)=4 x

y=\frac{4x}{x-4}
