Answer:

The given equation in slope intercept form is

226.50  = 7.5 (25) + 39

Step-by-step explanation:

The SLOPE INTERCEPT form of a equation is y = m x + c

The per hour cost for rental of boat = $25 per hour

Let us assume the one time cleaning charge = $ k

The boat is booked from 11 am : 6 : 30 pm

So, the number of hours boat was used = 7 . 5 hours

Hence, the cost for engaging boat for 7.5 hours

= 7.5 (cost per hour )  = 7.5( $25)  = $187 . 5

Total amount paid by the family = $226. 50 = Fixed cleaning charge + rate for 7.5 hours

⇒The cleaning fee paid by the family =    $226. 50 - $187 . 5  = $39

According to question:

Total amount paid = Number of hour x (cost per hour ) + Cleaning fee

Hence, the given equation in slope intercept form is

226.50  = 7.5 ($25) + $39

Which polynomial function could be represented by the graph below?
Svetllana [295]

Note that

1.

f(x)=x^3+x^2-6x=x(x^2+x-6)=x(x-2)(x+3)

The x-intercepts are at points x=-3, x=0, x=2. The graph should be increasing - decreasing - increasing.

2.

f(x)=x^3-x^2-6x=x(x^2-x-6)=x(x+2)(x-3)

The x-intercepts are at points x=-2, x=0, x=3. The graph should be increasing - decreasing - increasing.

3.

f(x)=-2x^3-2x^2+12x=-2x(x^2+x-6)=-2x(x-2)(x+3)

The x-intercepts are at points x=-3, x=0, x=2. The graph should be decreasing - increasing - decreasing.

4.

f(x)=-2x^3+x^2+12x=-2x(x^2-x-6)=-2x(x+2)(x-3)

The x-intercepts are at points x=-2, x=0, x=3. The graph should be decreasing - increasing - decreasing.

From the diagram you can see that x-intercepts are at points x=-3, x=0, x=2 and the graph is decreasing-increasing-decreasing.

How do chapters 8 and 9 develop aristotle’s conception of the mean?
a_sh-v [17]
The mean is a spot between two extremes, though one extreme is worse than the other. It is difficult to find one must have the right tools, and that's why virtue is rare. You don't just find it by wishing it. Aristotle makes the case that the mean is a very real concept which requires one to accurately evaluate both extremes and the range between then find the appropriate action or understanding, the median and aim/pattern actions in that direction. These chapters explain this concept.
