She should take 40 shots at each remaining practice.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Shots to be taken by Ava = 200 shots

Shots took during first practice = 80 shots

Let,

s be the shots taken on next practice.

Remaining three practices = 3s

According to given statement;

Remaining three practices + Shots took in first practice = Shots to be taken

3s+80=200\\3s=200-80\\3s=120

Dividing both sides by 3

\frac{3s}{3}=\frac{120}{3}\\s=40

She should take 40 shots at each remaining practice.

Which equations represent the line that is parallel to 3x − 4y = 7 and passes through the point (−4, −2)? Select two options. y
andriy [413]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

We want a line parallel to 3x − 4y = 7.  Any such line will have an equation of the same form but a different constant.

If the new line is to pass through the point (-4, -2), replace x with -4 and y with -2.  We obtain:

3(-4) − 4(-2) = -12 + 8 = -4.  Thus, the desired new equation is 3x − 4y = -4.

This could also be written as 3x − 4y + 4 = 0.  We could also solve this for y, obtaining:

3x + 4 = 4y, or  y = (3/4)x + 1.

On a coordinate plane, polygon GHIJ translates 8 units to the left to form polygon G'H'I'J'. Which of the following equations is
lana66690 [7]
A. True. This is because distances are preserved and kept the same.

B. True. Moving any point to it's corresponding image is having you travel 8 units.

C. True. Corresponding angles are congruent.

D. False. This is not always true so in general it's false.

The final answer is choice D

Here are seven tiles: 1,1,3,3,3,5,5. Tom takes a tile at random. He does not replace the tile. Tom then takes a second tile. A)
zzz [600]

Answer:

a) 2/42

b)16/42

Step-by-step explanation:

a) 2/7 x 1/6 = 2/42

b) (1,2)  (1,3) (2,3)

   P(1,2) = 2/7 x 3/6 = 6/42

   P(1,3) = 2/7 x 2/6 = 4/42

   P(2,3) = 3/7 x 2/6 = 6/42

Add all = 6/42 + 4/42 + 6/42 = 16/42
