Frenchie’s Tool rental charges customers $16 per hour to rent a riding lawnmower. Make a table of ordered pairs in which the x-c

oordinate (domain) represents the number of hours and the y-coordinate (range) represents the total cost of renting the lawnmower for 3, 7, 8, and 12 hours.

Answer:

\begin{array}{cc}x&y\\ \\3&48\\7&112\\8&128\\12&192\end{array}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represents the number of hours and y represents the total cost of renting the lawnmower.

Frenchie’s Tool rental charges customers $16 per hour to rent a riding lawnmower, then renting for x hours costs $16x, thus,

y=16x.

When x = 3, then y=16\cdot 3=48

When x = 7, then y=16\cdot 7=112

When x = 8, then y=16\cdot 8=128

When x = 12, then y=16\cdot 12=192

Therefore, the table is

\begin{array}{cc}x&y\\ \\3&48\\7&112\\8&128\\12&192\end{array}

If ce = 7x+4, find the value of x
Alex787 [66]

Hey there,

To find the value of x we can take the two, CD or DE and set them equal to CE.

First step is set the lines equal to each other:

  • x + 3 + 8x - 9 = 7x + 4

Now we combine like terms:

  • 9x - 6 = 7x + 4

Then we subtract 7x from both sides:

  • 2x - 6 = 4

Add 6 to both sides:

  • 2x = 10

Lastly we divide both sides by 2:

  • x = 5

So the value of x would have to be 5.

Hope I helped,

Amna

kumpel [21]

Answer:

V = L^{3}

L = \sqrt[3]{V}

L =\sqrt[3]{125\,dados^{3}}

L = 5\,dados

A = L^{2}

Entonces:

L^{2}< 125\,dados^{2}

Esto nos lleva a decir que:

L < 11.180\,dados

n = (11\,dados)^{2}

n = 121\,dados

If y is the circumcenter is angle STU find each measure
snow_tiger [21]

Answer:

Measures are SV=9 units., SY=14 units, YW=\sqrt75units , YW=\sqrt27units

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Y is the circumcenter of ΔSTU. we have to find the measures SV, SY, YW and YX.

As Circumcenter is equidistant from the vertices of triangle and also The circumcenter is the point at which the three perpendicular bisectors of the sides of the triangle meet.

Hence, VY, YW and YX are the perpendicular bisectors on the sides ST, TU and SU.

Given ST=18 units.

As VY is perpendicular bisector implies SV=9 units.

Also in triangle VTY

YT^{2}=VY^{2}+VT^{2}

⇒ 14^{2}=VY^{2}+9^{2}

⇒ VY^{2}=115

As vertices of triangle are equidistant from the circumcenter

⇒ SY=YT=UY=14 units

Hence, SY is 14 units

In ΔUWY, UY^{2}=YW^{2}+UW^{2}

⇒ 14^{2}=YW^2+11^{2}

⇒ YW^2=196-121=75 ⇒ YW=\sqrt75units

In ΔYXU, UY^{2}=YX^{2}+XU^{2}

⇒ 14^{2}=YX^2+13^{2}

⇒ YX^2=196-169=27 ⇒ YW=\sqrt27units

Hence, measures are SV=9 units., SY=14 units, YW=\sqrt75units , YW=\sqrt27units
