We can understand that Hammond's treated Sally in a very disgusting way by saying that he never cared about Sally or her daughter and that he wouldn't mind sending them to slavery.

Explanation:

 • By Hammond's speech, we get to know that Sally was a slave and that at that time Slave owners were not supposed to have any kind of relationships with slaves.
 • Hammond doesn't care about them (Sally, her daughter and her son) by saying that he doesn't even know whether they are his children.
 • He tells Sally to take care of them on her own and that he wouldn't help them even a little.
 • By telling that he will send them to slavery Hammond isn't really trying to be the bad guy in this situation but he is doing what he believes is best for them in his own mind.
 • Sally was a slave and she had no right to question or talk back due to her identity.

Nonamiya [84]

Answer: A) Hearing my phone ring even when in the shower because I'm expecting an important call.

B) No

Explanation: signal detection task is a task where an observer or the subject is expected to differentiate between trials in which a signal or stimulus is present and trials in which it is not Example the noise. Signal detection tasks or detection tasks gives the objective measures of perceptual sensitivity.

Being able to perceive that your phone is vibrating in a club because you are expecting a call you won't want to miss is an illustration. Sometimes there are fake perceptions and "hits" but whichever one it is, bringing out your phone to check if there was actually a call shows that you can detect the signal.

Hunger or fatigue can not determine detecting tasks that are very important. You my even forget you are hungry simply because your mother said she call to meet up with you once she comes into town. Speaking for myself now.

Explanation:

Jean Piaget was a Swiss physiologist who is well known for his theory of cognitive development which is divided into four developmental stages and the second stage among them is the Pre-operational stage. It is the second stage in which children between the age of approx two and seven years make understanding of the world around them.

At this stage, children start to think in images and symbols but they cannot understand the concrete logic behind it. At this stage, they start to indulge in role-playing and pretending. However, ego-centrism resists them to accept the viewpoint of others.
