LenKa [72]
The correct answer is the social-cognitive perspective.

According to the social-cognitive perspective, human behavior and actions are not only influenced by personal traits and enduring inner characteristics, but also by the situations people find themselves in. For instance, a person who is normally loud, outspoken and humorous will not behave in this manner if he or she is in a serious situation such as a job interview, an important work meeting or at a funeral.

You, your family, or your ancestors may have decided to migrate to a new part of the world, eventually settling where you live t
katovenus [111]
Geographic location is definitely one of those factors. I live in Europe, and have lived there my entire life, as my parents have before me, and their ancestors, so I believe that those people who decided to move here in Europe would definitely do that because of the location. I am surrounded by many important European countries and my country itself has an abundance of everything.

This takes me to the second reason, which are the resources - my country is rich in many natural resources, which my ancestors would definitely want to have around because where there are resources, there are jobs and life in general.

marishachu [46]

Answer: a) is an example of stereotype threat

Explanation:

A stereotype threat is <em>when people might conform to stereotypes about their social groups</em> (in this case, the social group of "older people").

Conforming to this stereotype can be risky, because it might cause certain social groups to <em>"underperform"</em>, to perform less than their actual potential. It's good that Mrs. Nguyen has formed her own opinion about getting older and <em>she hasn't submitted to the general perception of about "getting older". </em>
