,Okay, so here is how to calculate the amount of the trade discount:

I: $149,500 * .10 (10%) = 14,950 (this is the 10% discount)
149,500 - 14,950 = 134,550 (how much it costs with a 10% discount)

II: 134,550 * .5 (5%) = 6727.50
134,550 - 6727.50 = 127,822.50

III: 127,822.50 * .4 (4%) = 5112.90

The amount of the trade discount is: $14,950 + $6727.50 + $5112.90 = 26,790.40 dollars.

Step-by-step explanation:

5 cartons multiplied by 12 eggs each equals 60 eggs in total.

Therefore 5/6 would be equal to 50/60 since we multiply the denominator and numerator by 10

As a result 10 of the eggs are not brown

Explain why the graphing calculator cannot be used to solve or approximate solutions to all polynomial equations.
Lelu [443]
Let's put it this way: If you plot a few non-x-intercept points and then draw a curvy line through them, you will not know if you got the x-intercepts even close to being correct. The only way you can be sure of your x-intercepts is to set the quadratic equal to zero and solve. So its a matter of guessing from the pictures. Basicaly said, the calculator won't give you the exact result.

Sonbull [250]

Answer: 13n + 20

Step-by-step explanation:

The cost of each book is $13. That means that if you end up buying "n" books, cost would be:

= Cost of each book * number of books

= 13 * n

= 13n

You would also get charged a flat rate for shipping of $20 which would be added to the above cost to bring a total of:

= 13n + 20
