Answer:

The correct answers are: Blood pressure and Interstilial space.

Explanation:

  • In the circulatory system, the blood flows through the blood vessels which include the arteries, veins and capillaries under high pressure.
  • This pressure is generated and provided by the heart as it pumps the oxygenated blood from the left ventricle into the aorta so that the blood reaches the most distant cells of the body to provide them with nutrients and oxygen for the purpose of metabolism.
  • Blood pressure can be defined as the pressure applied by the blood on the walls of the arteries as it flows through them.
  • The walls of the capillaries are extremely thin so when blood flows through the capillaries under high pressure it forces water and small nutrient molecules to move out of the capillaries into the tissue space, also called the interstitial space. The cells in these regions can obtain the nutrients and water from the interstitial space.

Lymphatic System

Explanation:

  • The Blood pressure in the capillaries drives the filtration of water and small molecules from the blood into the interstitial space of the tissues.
  • The invulnerable system is the mind boggling assortment of cells and organs that annihilates or kills pathogens that would somehow cause malady or passing.
  • The lymphatic system, for a great many people, is related with the safe system to such an extent, that the two system are for all intents and purposes undefined.
  • The lymphatic system is the arrangement of vessels, cells, and organs that conveys abundance liquids to the circulatory system and channels pathogens from the blood.
  • The growing of lymph hubs during a contamination and the vehicle of lymphocytes by means of the lymphatic vessels are nevertheless two instances of the numerous associations between these basic organ system.
  • Circulatory strain causes spillage of liquid from the vessels, bringing about the aggregation of liquid in the interstitial space that is, spaces between singular cells in the tissues.
  • In people, 20 liters of plasma is discharged into the interstitial space of the tissues every day because of slender filtration.
  • Lymph is the term used to portray interstitial liquid once it has entered the lymphatic system.

Examine the diagram of the cell cycle. Which label identifies the stage in which the DNA is copied and the cell grows? W X Y Z
kondor19780726 [428]

The right answer is Y (G2 phase).

The interphase is the moment when the cell lives and does everything for which it is programmed. She is also preparing to divide. The steps of the division are detailed below:

Phase G1 (W) comes from a word "GAP" (= interval). During this phase, the cell performs its normal metabolism, it grows to a critical size that will give the signal to move to phase S which consists of replicating the nuclear DNA (X).

Once DNA replication is complete, phase G2 begins (The letter Y). Here, the growth of the cell end, but it will continue to fulfill its functions. During this phase, the centrosomes replicate, they will allow the smooth course of the mitosis. This phase ends by passing the G2 checkpoint, where the mitosis begins.

The shortest phase (Z) is M phase (mitosis / meiosis).

.What are the genotypes of the parents in the monohybrid cross below if the following offspring genotypes are predicted?
Anit [1.1K]

As you can see in the diagram presented below, the correct genotypes of the parents are TT and Tt.

Each parent give its children only one chromosome of the chromosome pair, therefore only one allele of the gene.

In our case, TT and Tt is the correct answer because one of the parents has to have the t allele to give to the Tt offspring.

But if both of the parents were Tt, one of the offspring would have tt genotype, and if the parents were TT and tt, all of the offspring would be Tt. Therefore, the TT x Tt combination is the only possible answer.

. It has been observed that organisms on islands are different from, but closely related to, similar forms found on the nearest
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

The right answer to this question is option A) island forms and mainland forms descended from common ancestors.

It's known in science that a long time ago, all the continents were only one, united all together in a bigger one. This can be observed by the way every continent can fit another one.

A proof of that too, is evolution, when we find organisms in an island that share some characteristics with organisms from another island, that can mean some things, they come from the same place, or these islands share characteristics that lead these organisms to be this way through evolution.

Develop a hypothesis to explain why you think eurypterids developed legs even though they lived on the ocean floor.
expeople1 [14]

I think that since it lives on the ocean floor, at the deepest of the ocean. So anyway, the fin on the Eurypterids is still necessary but not that much, since they live on the ocean floor. Their movements mostly on the ocean floor. So fin would not help them "stick" to the floor. Also there are still gravity acts on the Eurypterids and the feet would help them move faster. Hope this helps.
