Answer:

A and B

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete Question:

A freight elevator has a maximum weight limit of 3,200 pounds. The elevator is being loaded with crates that each weigh 300 pounds. The forklift being used to move the boxes weighs 175% as much as one crate. How many crates can fit onto the freight elevator? Select all that apply

A.6

B.8

C.10

D.12

Solution:

The forklift is 175% as one crate (that weight 300 lbs).

175% = 175/100 = 1.75

1.75*300 = 525 lb

Forklift weights 525 pounds

So, remaining weight limit on the elevator for the crates would be:

3200 - 525 = 2675 lb

How many 300 lb crate can that hold??

2675/300 = 8.92 crates MAX

So, that practically means we can load 8 crates at max.

From the answer choices we can load "6" and "8" crates.

Answer choices A and B are right.

Answer:

You’ll have to come up with $10,000 - 25,000.

Step-by-step explanation:

You'll need at least this much for your new house because if you think about it appliances are getting expensive. So, is furniture and it also depends on how big the house is. Then again, this is about how much my parents ( $46, 560 ) spent on our house and we still are looking for more furniture.
