PLS HELP ASAP PLEASE Heidi and Andrew designed two raised flower beds for their garden. Heidi's flower bed was 5 feet long by 3
feet wide, and Andrew's flowerbed was the same length but twice as wide. calculate how many cubic feet or soil they need to buy to have soil to a depth of 2 feet in both flower beds.
First, find the area of both beds! For Heidi: 5 x 3 = 15 For Andrew: 5 x (3 x 2) = 30 ft
Added together, the beds have an area of 45 feet. To place soil with a depth of 2 feet, simply multiply by 2. You can think of this as finding the volume of the beds, which is length x width x height, or area x height. The answer is 90 cubic feet!
Well, it really depends but it could be 9 rolls of quarters, 5 rolls of quarters and 8 rolls of dimes, 4 rolls of quarters and 10 rolls of dimes, 3 rolls of quarters and 12 rolls of dimes, etc.
