Help, please! 100 points!! Captain Ben flies small passenger jets. These jets carry 50 passengers, plus their luggage. On a full

flight, these jets will perform properly as long as the total weight of passengers’ checked baggage does not exceed 5000 pounds. Ben is concerned that passengers on a particular flight have brought unusually heavy bags. He selects a random sample of 10 passengers and weighs their checked baggage. Based on the results from this sample, he must decide whether it is safe to take off.
I've already answered a,b,c,d but I'm not sure how to answer the rest. Please help me.
d) If you had to choose one of the "standard" significance levels for your significance test, would you choose α = 0.01, 0.05, or 0.10? Justify your choice, by writing a short paragraph.
e) Write a paragraph and discuss the conditions completely. Write about any concerns you have about how the data were produced.

Answer:

You need to show his sample and the results "Based on the results from this sample, he must decide whether it is safe to take off." What sample? what results? however if you multiply the results by 5 and if that's greater then 5000 he cannot fly.

Step-by-step explanation:

You need to show his sample and the results "Based on the results from this sample, he must decide whether it is safe to take off." What sample? what results? also theres 50 passengers so 10/50 people are selected having a weight of x/5,000. cross multiply divide is the maximum weight of the ten people. 10*5,000 = 50,000 now divide by 50. = 1000 is the MAXIMUM those random ten people can have. divide by 10 and now 100 is the maximum per person.
