Answer:

Explanation:

Food webs describe the relationships — links or connections — among species in an ecosystem, but the relationships vary in their importance to energy flow and dynamics of species populations. Some trophic relationships are more important than others in dictating how energy flows through ecosystems. Some connections are more influential on species population change. Based on different ways in which species influence one another, Robert Paine proposed three types of food webs based on the species of a rocky intertidal zone on the coast of Washington (Ricklefs 2008, Figure 2). Connectedness webs (or topological food webs) emphasize feeding relationships among species, portrayed as links in a food web (Paine 1980). Energy flow webs quantify energy flow from one species to another. Thickness of an arrow reflects the strength of the relationship. Functional webs (or interaction food webs) represent the importance of each species in maintaining the integrity of a community and reflect influence on the growth rate of other species' populations. As shown in Figure 2, limpets Acmaea pelta and A. mitra in the community consume considerable food energy (energy flow web), but removal of these consumers has no detectable influence on the abundance of their resources (functional web). The most effective control was exerted by sea urchin Stronglocentrotus and the chiton Katharina (Ricklefs 2008).

Scilla [17]

Answer:

b. Foraging birds eat left over rice and trample the ground making trilling unnecessary.

Explanation:

The California ricelands Habitat Partnership is a partnership between rice farmer and conservation group that will promote long term sustainability of wetland species.

This farming method is beneficial to both the farmers and the species. The wetland species such as foraging birds will benefit by coming to eat the left over rice after the farmers have harvested the rice.

As the birds eat the rice, they trample the grounds making trilling unnecessary hence benefiting the rice farmers.

Which of the following statements best represents the relationships between the light reactions and the Calvin cycle? A) The lig
schepotkina [342]

Answer:

The correct answer is E the light reaction provide ATP and NADPH to the calvin cycle, and the cycle returns ADP,pi and NADP+ to the light reactions.

Explanation:

The light reaction of photosynthesis occur in the .During light reaction ATP is produced by cyclic photo phosphorylation and NADPH is generated by the reduction of NADP+ during Z scheme.

The ATP and reducing equivalent NADPH that is generated during light reaction is being utilized in the dark reaction.

During dark reaction both utilized ATP and NADPH are converted to ADP,pi and NADP+.These products are used during light reaction.

NADP+ is generated by the oxidation of NADPH and ADP and pi are produced by the hydrolysis of ATP.

vladimir2022 [97]

Answer:

Opposition

Explanation:

Opposition is the type of movement that is only for the hands. Opposition is them movement where you bring your finger/s in contact with your thumb. When you put it back to its anatomical position, which is beside the index finger (pointing finger) this is called reposition.

Retraction occurs in the scapula (Shoulder blades) and mandible (jaw). Dorsiflexion you see that happen in your foot. When you bring your toes closer to the shin. Supination is more on the forearm and foot, where you rotate it so your palms are facing forward (sole facing the other ankle for feet). Flexion is the movement of body parts where you bring them closer to each other at a joint (the angle between the two parts are lessened). Like when you bend your elbows to "flex" muscles.
