Answer:

Phineas Gage has a rod driven into his skull by accident which resulted in brain injury. The rod was known to pass through and destroyed his frontal lobes.

He would have benefited well if several treatment and plans were given such as psychosocial support after the damage to his cerebrum. He would have also benefited well from vocational rehabilitation intervention. They would have helped a lot on his recovery from the accident.

Answer:

Personally I would ask to speak with a manager and see what they would do, if they pointed me in the right direction I would talk with him and see if anything seemed odd. If I still got that feeling I would talk to the police about it and let them do the investigating.

A team consists of employees from the same department who meet for a few hours each week to discuss ways of improving the work e
Sloan [31]

Answer:

Problem solving team.

Explanation:

A problem solving team in an organisation refers to to a group of workers who share ideas and offer suggestions on how to improve working processes or environment. They work together resolving issues that have appeared on the organization. However, this team only focuses on offering suggestions but they don't directly implement their suggestions by themselves.

In this example, employees from the same department meet to discuss ways of improving the work environment but they do not have the authority to unilaterally implement their suggestions.

Since we can see that they are focusing on a problem that has arisen (the improvement of work environment) and offer suggestions on this topic but without the authority to implement their suggestions, we can conclude that this is an example of a problem solving team.

Which of the three components of Donald Noel's (1968) "Noel Hypothesis" do you think is most significant in leading to some type
Kay [80]

Out of three conditions that Donald Noel suggest in "Noel Hypothesis", which are ethnocentrism, competition and the differential in power ethnic or racial, I think the most important is competition. Human beings create ranks in ethnic groups by competing. For example when Irish came to America (1820-1860), they competed with other group to gain positions in society and some of them followed the bad way creating the Irish mob and some entered the police force which gave this group a better status then the Italian mob overcome the Irish mob. It is just an example of how ethnic groups compete to survive and society moves into stratification.

I think there is power and inequality between groups and this leads to prejudice and discrimination. The groups that are suffering more are vulnerable groups like women, elderly and children. Here is Peru there is a great problem with women being killed. It is insane but the number of these cases is going up every year. When women go to the police station do denounce their partners, police officers don't pay them attention to what they say and in many cases they don't do anything. Most of the time women are killed by their partners in Peru. Women are afraid to denounce their partners too.
