Answer:

I believe the answer is transative property. I'm currently taking the test so I'm not 100% sure if I'm right yet.

Step-by-step explanation:

In step one, AGE and HGB are verticle angles since they are opposite of each other. then step two is alternate interior angles because they are interior angles opposite of each other, self-explanatory. the reason I choose the transitive property over the corresponding angles theorem is because the transitive property states: among A B and C, if A=B and B=c then A=C and in this case since AGE=HGB andHGB=CHE then AGE=CHE. I hope this helps and if you know the right answer just put it in the comments, if I'm wrong ofc.

HURRY! Which table represents a linear function?
jeka94
Remember that to tell if a function is linear for a table, you should look for a constant rate of change, and the only function that has a constant rate of change is the first one. x is increasing by 1, and y is increasing by 0.5.

Now that we know that, lets find the equation of our table.
First, lets take tow points from our table: (1,\frac{1}{2}) and (2,1).
Next, use the slope formula: m= \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}}{x_{2}-x_{1} }
We know for our points that y_{2}=1, y_{1}= \frac{1}{2},x_{2}=2, and x_{1}=1, so lets replace those point in our formula to find m:
m= \frac{1- \frac{1}{2} }{2-1}
m= \frac{1}{2}

Finally, we can use the point slope formula y-y_{1}=m(x-x_{1}) to find our equation:
y- \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{2} (x-1)
y- \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{2} x- \frac{1}{2}
y= \frac{1}{2}x

We can conclude that the first table represents a linear function, and its equation is y= \frac{1}{2}x

Lelu [443]
1.5r+15=2.25r
Combine like terms: 1.5r+15-1.5r=2.25r-1.5r
15=0.75r
Get the unknown alone: 15/.75=.75/.75r

Find the area of the part of the sphere x2 + y2 + z2 = 100z that lies inside the paraboloid z = x2 + y2.
vekshin1
x^2+y^2+z^2=100z\iff x^2+y^2+(z-50)^2=50^2

The surface of interest can be parameterized by

\mathbf r(u,v)=\begin{cases}x(u,v)=50\cos u\sin v\\y(u,v)=50\sin u\sin v\\z(u,v)=50(\cos v+1)\end{cases}

with 0\le u\le2\pi and 0\le v\le\arccos\dfrac{49}{50}.

The area of the surface S is given by the surface integral

\displaystyle\iint_S\mathrm dA=\iint_T\left\|\mathbf r_u\times\mathbf r_v\right\|\,\mathrm du\,\mathrm dv

We have

\|\mathbf r_u\times\mathbf r_v\|=50^2\sin v

so the area is given by the double integral

\displaystyle50^2\int_{u=0}^{u=2\pi}\int_{v=0}^{v=\arccos(49/50)}\sin v\,\mathrm dv\,\mathrm du=100\pi

Josh wants to determine the number of loaves of bread he can bake using the 13 and one-third cups of flour he has. If each loaf
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

Approximately 4 loaves of bread.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us get out the total amount of flour that Josh has first of all. This is 13\frac{1}{3} cups of flour.

Each lof requires 3\frac{4}{5} cups of flour. This means that to make a loaf, he will be taking out this quantity of flour from the whole lot.

To get the total number of loaves he can make with this quantity of flour, we will have to divide the total quantity of flour available by the quantity required to make a single loaf.

This will be 13\frac{1}{3} ÷3\frac{4}{5} = 3\frac{29}{57} . This is approximately 4 loaves of bread
