Jessica is buying several Bunches of Bananas
Find which set of banana offers is best buy
=> 10 pounds of bananas for 14.90 dollars
to get the answer, divide 14.90 by 10
=> 14.90 / 10
=> 1.49, thus, in every pound of bananas, the price is 1.49 dollars
Second Offer
=> 8 pounds of bananas for 12.08 dollars
=> 12.08 / 8
=> 1.51 dollars = the price of banana per 1 pound.

Thus, the best buy of banana offer is the 10 pounds for 14.90 dollars.

If the egress rate for a stadium is 5,500 fans per hour and it takes fans about one-third less time for fans to exit a game as i
Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

1833 fans per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Ingress is entering and Egress is exiting.

Since exiting time is 1/3rd less than entering time, we have 5500 people exiting, so ingessing would be 1/3rd that.

Thus,

Ingress Rate = 5500/3 = 1833.33

Rounding to whole number, we have 1833 fans per hour

11/12−6/1q+6/5q−3/1, Combine like terms to create an equivalent expression.
Nikolay [14]

Answer: -\frac{25}{12} -\frac{24q}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{11}{12} -\frac{6}{1} q+\frac{6}{5}q-\frac{3}{1}

\frac{11}{12} -6q+ \frac{6q}{5} -\frac{3}{1}

\frac{11}{12}-6q \frac{6q}{5} -3

(\frac{11}{12} -3)+(-6q+\frac{6q}{5} )

-\frac{25}{12}- \frac{24q}{5}

Simplify three times, collect like terms and simplify again, how to collect like terms see their differences and then put them into groups, for example I put all the numbers without variables on one side and all the numbers with variables on another.

Hope this helps, now you know the answer and how to do it. HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! As well as a great rest of Black History Month! :-)
