Answer:

Fungi, Animalia, Plantae, and Protista

Explanation:

Fungi: A cluster of organisms that produce spores and feed on organic matter, examples are Mushrooms, mold and yeast.

Animals: a classification of living organisms that almost always have organs, and feed on other organic matter, they also usually have a nervous system. Examples are, Pigeons, Lions, Whales, etc.

Plants: organisms such as grass, trees, moss, flowers, and grow in the same spot. They absorb water, and inorganic matter through their roots, and usually have green coloring to do photosynthesis.

Protists: These organisms are usually microscopic and unicellular. They contain a nucleus and other specialized organelles, and some can move around. They vary widely of what they do, with some like Amoebas moving and eating other cells, while algae stay put and perform photosynthesis.

Plants that evolved vascular tissue are more advanced than plants without vascular tissue. Most importantly, possession of vascu
aliya0001 [1]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option-D

Explanation:

The evolution of vascular tissues in plants from non-vascular plants was an adaptive feature to survive in the terrestrial environment.  The group of plants in which vascular tissues evolved and developed is the Pteridophytes which contained stellar organization of the vascular bundles.

The pteridophytes exhibited xylem and phloem which allows the rapid uptake of the water and nutrients from the soil which allowed the growth of the plant and since plants got enough water and nutrients from the soil, they adapted to grow tall so that they can maximize the output of photosynthesis in bright sunshine.

Thus, option-D is the correct answer.

Saturated fatty acids are degraded by the stepwise reactions of beta-oxidation, producing acetyl-CoA. Under aerobic conditions,
Tanya [424]

Answer:

4 ATP molecules

Explanation:

Normally, about 11 ATP molecules are generated as the result of Beta-Oxidation of saturated fatty acid in Kreb's Cycle. But the total removal of acetyl-CoA under certain aerobic condition decreases the overall yield and approximately 4 ATP molecules comes out from each removal of acetyl-CoA.

The arctic fox is different from the brown fox. The color of the arctic fox’s fur changes to brown during the summer. The fur re
Fofino [41]
The Arctic Fox lives in the Arctic Tundra (more or less around Alaska, Iceland I think, and other places like that). During the winter, their fur is very thick and solid white (not always SOLID but generally speaking). During the summer and spring, their fur turns brown.

1. Of course, during the winter in those regions, it's going to be snowing and ice is going to be all over the ground. By having a white coat, they're able to blend in and hide from predators, such as the Arctic Wolf and Polar Bears. By turning brown, they'll be able to blend in with the dirt after the snow and ice melts, and again, hide from predators. For the other fox, their brown coat blends in with the dirt, trees, dead leaves, etc. and they'll be able to hide from prey and predators alike.

2. The Arctic Fox also has very thick fur during the winter, which allows it to survive the extreme temperatures. They also dig burrows in the snow for shelter in blizzards. This gives them the ability to survive natural disasters (at least one of them).

I can't think of a third one but these should give you a pretty good idea of how their adaptations help them survive. I really love the Arctic fox so I know quite a bit about them. I really hope this helps you.
