You are planning for retirement 33 years from now. You plan to invest $3,500 per year for the first 6 years, $8,800 per year for
lianna [129]

Answer:

Total FV= $3,433,859.29

Explanation:

<u>First, we will calculate the future value of each equal annual deposit. Then, the ending value in 33 years of investment as a whole.</u>

FV= {A*[(1+i)^n-1]}/i

A= annual deposit

FV1= {3,500*[(1.137^6) - 1]} / 0.137= $29,648.89

FV2= {8,800*[(1.137^11) - 1]} /0.137= $199,476.80

FV3= {14,400*[(1.137^16) - 1]} /0.137= $714,882.03

<u>Now, the total future value:</u>

FV= PV*(1+i)^n

FV1= 29,648.89*(1.137^27)= 949,600.61

FV2= 199,476.80*(1.137^17)= 1,769,376.65

FV3= 714,882.03

Total FV= $3,433,859.29

Please describe how you have prepared for your intended major, including your readiness to succeed in your upper-division course
s2008m [1.1K]
<span>My love for nature and my curiosity led me to choose Biology as my major. I wanted to pursue the branch of science most closely related to the natural world. Biology, and most specifically cell biology, allow me to see more deeply into nature. Ever since my childhood, when I spent much time hiking the nature trails and collecting bugs, I've been inspired by nature. I was drawn to all the sciences, but realized that Biology brought me closer to understanding the world around me. I have prepared for my major by taking all prerequisite courses required for a Biology major. Additionally, I have also taken electives related to Biology to broaden my knowledge base. Such electives include a History of Science course and a Botany course with a research component. Beyond courses themselves, I have contributed several science articles to my current how-write-good-college-essay's newspaper. I have also volunteered my time to do data entry for a major study being conducted by my how-write-good-college-essay's Biology department, to give me hands-on experience in the research process. As I continue to pursue my Biology major at UC, I will continue to excel academically. More importantly, I am committed to becoming an how-write-act-essayive part of the student body, especially within my department. I will seek volunteer opportunities to participate in research. Additionally, as an upperclassman, I will have the skills and experience to be of service to other students who are just beginning their Biology major. It is important to me to teach as I learn, and tutoring within my department is one way I plan to do so. Further, you will find me specializing in cell and molecular biology, my intended emphasis.</span>

ludmilkaskok [199]

Explanation:

1. Ragged mountains assertion of defense is '<u>assumption of risk</u><u>'</u><u>.</u><u> </u>In this scenario, Elaine Sweeney exposed herself to risk while snow tubing at the absence of an instructor. snow tube run is solely for snow tubers. ragged mountain can use this defense

2. new hampshire has prohibited people from suing for injuries received due to skiing risks. in a case of this sort, ms Elaine would be assumed to know all possible risks involved. the defendant will be favored since it has been advised that people should not go into sports of these sorts witout good training and an instructor.

3. no Elaine's lawsuit will not be successful if the conclusion of the court is that the statue applies to skiing and not to snow tubing. one should be cautious during snow tubing. she went snow tubing without proper care. it is likely that she may not win the case.

4. the theory is <u>contributor</u><u>y</u><u> </u><u>neglige</u><u>nce</u><u> </u><u>theor</u><u>y</u><u>.</u><u> </u>her damages is going to be reduced in proportion with the actions that has brought about her accident. for this reason she is partly responsible.
