The significance of human impact on waterways are largely negative.  Human agriculture introduces herbicides and pesticides, poisons, into waterways.  Humans divert water for their own use - consumption, irrigation, etc. - reducing the amount of water available to species within the waterways.  Humans are working to reduce that impact with organic farming, and practices that return groundwater and waterway waters back to waterways.

I got a 100% with this response.

There are a lot of significance of human impact on waterways and on how are humans working to reduce that impact. People are studying really hard on how to prevent some thing or some bad thing from happening, and this is one example to that. Being informed on one thing means a lot to the latter part.
