You didn't say if the car bought is the new car or the old car so I'm assuming the car bought for $22,500 is the new car.

You divide 22,500 by 2 to get the cost of the old car. When you do this, you find out the old car costed $11,250.

the equation is 22,500/2=p

If $22,500 is the cost of the old car, then it's not my fault that the poster did not make it clear. If the previous car costed $22,500, then the previous car costed $22,500

Answer:

22500=2p

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :Ms. Banerjee bought a car for $22,500. The amount she paid for her new car was twice the amount she paid for her previous car, which she bought 8 years ago.

To Find: Which equation shows p, the price in dollars that she paid for her previous car?

Solution :

Her new car cost is $225000

let her old car cost be p.

Since we are given that The amount she paid for her new car was twice the amount she paid for her previous car

⇒22500=2p

Hence the required equation is 22500=2p

The cost of old car = 22500/2 = $11250

Using the technique in the model above, find the missing sides in this 30°-60°-90° triangle. Long = 3 Hypotenuse =
VMariaS [17]
Alright, if I have this right, first of all, your provided with only one side of the triangle, the long leg. You need to calculate the short leg, and then the hypotenuse for it to all be complete
1. Find the short leg's measurement by dividing the length of the long leg by the square root of 3 (use a calc.)
2. 3/ the square root of 3 = to 1.73
3. The length of the short leg, supposedly, is 1.73 (roughly, was rounded)
4. Find the hypotenuse by taking the length of the short leg times 2
5. 1.73*2=3.46, (roughly, was rounded)
6. Apply the measurements to the figure.
7.  The long leg is equal to 3, the hypotenuse is equal to 3.46, and the short leg is equal to 1.73
~Hope this helps!

Let $a=-1$, let $b=3$, and let $c=-5$. Calculate $b(abc+5ab)+b(c+a)$.
Andrews [41]

Answer: $b(abc+5ab)+b(c+a)$ = - 18

Step-by-step explanation:

If $a = $ - 1, $b = $3 and $c = $- 5, then

abc = - 1 × 3 × - 5 = 15

5ab = 5 × - 1 × 3 = - 15

Then,

$b(abc+5ab) = 3(15 - 15)

Opening the brackets, it becomes

3 × 0 = 0

(c + a)$ = - 5 - 1 = - 6

Then,

b(c+a)$ = 3 × - 6 = - 18

Therefore,

$b(abc+5ab)+b(c+a)$ = 0 + (- 18)

$b(abc+5ab)+b(c+a)$ = 0 - 18 = - 18

According to a nutrition coach, a 100 kg person should eat
alexira [117]

Answer:

0.07%

Step-by-step explanation:

This equation is solving for what percentage of 100 kg is 0.07 kg.

1. Set up the equation

\frac{0.07}{100} = \frac{x}{100}

0.07 kg out of 100 kg is equal to x out of 100 because x represents the percentage and percentages are out of 100.

2. Solve by cross multiplying

100x = 7

3. Solve for x by dividing both sides by 100

x = 0.07

The answer is 0.07%

A school graduation class wants to hire buses and vans for a trip to Jasper National Park. Each bus
BARSIC [14]
Let the school hire x buses and y vans.

A bus can hold 40 students and 3 teachers.
A van can hold 8 students and 1 teacher.

The number of students riding in  buses and vans is at least 400, therefore
40x + 8y ≥ 400          (1)

The number of teachers riding in buses and vans is at most 36, therefore
3x + y ≤ 36                (2)

Write (1) and (2) as
y ≥ 50 - 5x                 (3)
y ≤ 36 - 3x                 (4)

The equality portion of the solution of (3) and (4) is
36 - 3x = 50 - 5x
2x = 14
x = 7   =>  y = 36 - 3*7 = 15

A graph of the inequalities indicates the acceptable solution in shaded color, as shown below.

The minimum cost of renting buses and vans is
7*$1200 + 15*$100 =  $9900

Answer: The minimum cost is $9,900
