You have to find the unit rate

SO..

7.70 / 154 = 0.05

So it cost her 0.05 cents for each text.

So then you divide $ 5.25 by the unit rate to get the number of text

5.25 /0.05 = 105

so she sent 105 text

To check it you just multiply the unit rate by the number of text you got and you show come up with $ 5.25

0.05 x 105 = 5.25

Explain how employee benefits affect total employment compensation
dlinn [17]
Employee benefits are generally considered added compensation in addition to wages or salary.  so if it were represented as a function it would be C=b+w. The total compensation C would be equal to benefits b plus wages or salary w.

Carolina is mowing lawns for a summer job. For every mowing job, she charges an initial fee plus \$6$6dollar sign, 6 for each ho
Margarita [4]

For this case, the first thing we must do is define variables.

We have then:

t: number of hours

F (t): total charge

We write the function that models the problem:

F (t) = 6t + b

Where,

b: represents an initial fee.

We must find the value of b.

For this, we use the following data:

Her total fee for a 4-hour job, for instance, is $ 32.

We have then:

32 = 6 (4) + b

From here, we clear the value of b:

32 = 24 + b

32-24 = b

b = 8

Then, the function that models the problem is:

F (t) = 6t + 8

Answer:

the function's formula is:

F (t) = 6t + 8

Solve the system using elimination. x + 2y = –6 3x + 8y = –20 (–4, –1) (–4, 4) (–1, –4) (3, 1)
Orlov [11]

x + 2y =  - 6 >  >  > 3x =  - 18 - 6y
- 18 - 6y + 8y =  - 20 >  >  > 2y =  - 2 >  > y =  - 1
so x=4

The circle will be dilated by a scale factor of 6. What is the value for n if the expression nPI represents the circumference of
IgorLugansk [536]
A dilation by a scale factor of 6 will cause the radius to increase by a factor of 6. So r_{new} = 6r. If we plug this value of r into the formula for the circumference of a circle we get C = 2\pi r_{new} = 2\pi *6r = 12\pi r

So basically N = 12r. You haven't given me any original radius, so I can't give you a constant for N, but if you do have that original radius you can just plug that into 12r.

Based on your comment, N = 12 * 9 = 108 inches
