Local:

PRO- A pro for a local group would be that you can clean up your own community and notice the difference and also it is close so you won't have to travel a billion miles.

CON- A con for a local group is that you can only help the community and since a community could be small, based on my own, it wouldn't take a long time to do the service if there were a decent amount of people.

National:

PRO- You would be able to help outside of your community and you could meet some new people.

CON- A con for a national group would be that it could be far to travel and you would probably have to do research on the service and where it is before going.

What deprivation does Robinson Crusoe complain about most often during his stay on the island?
ElenaW [278]
Crusoe is deprived of his fortune while nevertheless retaining his faith in Providence. This passage also showcases Crusoe’s characteristic neutral tone—the detached, deadpan style in which he narrates even thrilling events. Although he reports that the emotional effects make his heart flutter, he displays very little emotion in the passage, certainly not the joy expected of someone who suddenly becomes wealthy.

You read a story about a woman named Maya Sweeten. If this story is a biography, which statements could be true? Select three an
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

B. Maya Sweeten was a real person

C. Maya Sweeten was a nurse who saved many lives.

F. Maya Sweeten was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1924.

The other ones are incorrect because they make no SENSE and you are talking about a biography which includes real life accomplishment and a real person. Obviously her being a fictional character wouldn't fit the picture since you are talking about a biography.

I hope I've helped!
