Answer:

Describe how poor people are able to earn a living using gambling and informal trade as a strategy:

A study showed that poor people have a higher rate of gambling compare those with higher income. They are hoping to win a ton of money by gambling and think a quick way to become rich. Some of them think that by visiting a casino they may make a few quick bucks and gain financial stability. They think those few extra bucks can be used to pay the bills for that month. They are looking for “quick” fixes. When someone is desperate, gambling is a bad solution.

Another strategy is through informal trading. Informal trading is a business activity or practices with no fixed place and no government regulation, such as paying tax and another administration fee. Informal trading is easy to set up and only needs minimal capital. Informal trading can happen in a public road, public space or designated space. People in poverty hopes that through informal trading they can increase their income. Informal trade is an alternative to formal jobs and represents a strategy for reducing poverty and unemployment.

Gambling gives the largest sum of reward with little amount of initial capital, but it possesses the highest risk in term of return.
Poor people could use this as a one way ticket to wealth, but they need to put luck into consideration, so it's not really reliable.

Informal trade is more reliable compared to gambling, but it could be somewhat illegal or unethical.
In informal trade, the people could avoid paying taxes and receive the profit in larger sum.

Burka [1]

The Type II error would be to conclude that EnerG is no more nutritious than Supreme when Energy actually provides more health benefits.

Option b

Explanation:

Type II error sometimes referred to as beta error is a term in statistics that doesn’t reject the false-null hypothesis. It occurs when one refuses to reject the false null hypothesis. In this type of error, the false findings are accepted as true.

It also confirms two different scenarios as similar even though they are different. It can be reduced by adjusting the criteria of the null hypothesis by increasing tolerance with caution to ensure that the error type doesn’t end up being Type I error.

Bible 800 – Unit 6: The Early Churches REPORT: THE EARLY CHURCH The church is 2000 years old. What has changed? What has remaine
valkas [14]

Early Christians were known to meet in Jerusalem where Christianity had its origins. Early apostles, teachers, and preachers of Christianity were actively travelling and spreading the word, or the "Great Commission", wherein after his resurrection Jesus instructed his followers to baptize all nations and gain new disciples.

Christianity spread orally through preaching from Jerusalem, through the Roman Empire, around the Mediterranean Sea, Greece, Africa, and Asia through practices such as baptism, keeping the Sabbath holy, communal meals, receiving Holy Communion (bread and wine, representing the memory of the body and blood of Christ). Early leaders of Christianity include Paul the Apostle, Saint Peter, and James- brother of Jesus. Many Christians faced problems such as religious persecution after complaints from neighboring pagans who were concerned with displeasing their gods.

The early church experienced the split of Christianity and Judaism and the moving of church centers to locations such as Constantinople/Byzantium, Anatolia, Rome, Antioch, and Alexandria. Jerusalem remains to be seen as "holy land". The modern church has experienced some changes such as the split of England and the creation of the Church of England, the importance of the Pope, the emergence of religious titles such as bishop, priest, and cardinal, the importance of denominations and the waxing importance of political and governmental influence.

AfilCa [17]

Answer:

There are eight features that are commonly cited as characteristics of civilization. All eight of them could be involved in some way in the development of a public work such as a wall or a road.

Advanced cities: Cities are very large settlements. In order to cope with their large populations, cities tend to have advanced infrastructure for housing, food production, communication, transportation, etc. Large public works such as roads contribute to the development of cities. On the other hand, the existence of cities makes it easier for those projects to be carried out.

Well-organized government: Large public projects require careful planning and financing. They also require supervision. A well-organized government can carry out these responsibilities.

Distinct social classes: Social class could be reflected in public works in several ways. For example, groups of people living near these landmarks could belong to a particular social class. Also, the tasks necessary for the construction of these works could be divided in terms of class.

Writing: Writing is involved in all stages of construction, from designing the structures, to obtaining permits, to communicating the plans to the general population.

Art and architecture: Art and architecture would be involved in designing any type of structure to varying degrees.

Public works: Any type of structure meant to be used by the general population of a community, such as a protective wall or a road, is consider a public work.

Job specialization: The people involved in the project would all have distinct, specific tasks, such as engineers, designers, builders, etc.

Religion: Although not the most obvious feature, religion could potentially be involved in the public work. For example, the building could be a designated place of prayer, or the calendar the construction follows could be based on a particular religion.
