Let point P be the center of the North pole.

Any direction she moves 1 mi, she is walking 1 mi South.

1 mile is a very small distance but we can still think of the path as a little curved because of the shape of the Earth, but she is just moving in a straight path.

Then the woman moves East, and then back North.

Raphael graphed the functions g(x)=x+2 and f(x)=x−1. How many units below the y-intercept of g(x) is the y-intercept of f(x)? A
jasenka [17]

Answer:

3 units below the y-intercept of g(x) is the y-intercept of f(x)

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=x+2 and f(x)=x-1

In f(x)= mx+b the y intercept is b

In g(x)=x+2, the y intercept value is 2

In f(x)=x-1, the y intercept value is -1

the difference in y intercept is +2-(-1)=+3

3 units below the y-intercept of g(x) is the y-intercept of f(x)

You have just received an inheritance of $28,000 and would like to invest it into an account. The bank offers two investment pla
grigory [225]
First we need to calculate annual withdrawal of each investment
The formula of the present value of an annuity ordinary is
Pv=pmt [(1-(1+r)^(-n))÷(r)]
Pv present value 28000
PMT annual withdrawal. ?
R interest rate
N time in years
Solve the formula for PMT
PMT=pv÷[(1-(1+r)^(-n))÷(r)]

Now solve for the first investment
PMT=28,000÷((1−(1+0.058)^(−4))
÷(0.058))=8,043.59
The return of this investment is
8,043.59×4years=32,174.36

Solve for the second investment
PMT=28,000÷((1−(1+0.07083)^(
−3))÷(0.07083))=10,685.63
The return of this investment is
10,685.63×3years=32,056.89

So from the return of the first investment and the second investment as you can see the first offer is the yield the highest return with the amount of 32,174.36

URGENT!!! Connor earns $24 working every 1.5 hours. Complete the table using equivalent ratios.
tamaranim1 [39]
First find the rate, so dollars/1 hour

To do this, divide both sides by 1.5 so u get the Pay of one hour because 1.5/1.5 is one and the result is 16/1 hour, now multiply 16 by the hour so 16(8) then 16(12) and so on, you can do it well! I don’t have a calculator lol

Unnithan, Houser, and Fernhall (2006) were interested in whether playing the game Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) met the American
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

The conclusion that both groups of overweight and non - overweight got cardiovascular benefit from playing DDR games requires Inferential statistics.

Step-by-step explanation:

Inferential statistics is simply a type of research statistic whereby a generalized conclusion is made about a larger group based on representative observations

Now,in the given question, we see that both group hearts were above the minimum recommended for cardiovascular exercise. Now we can infer that the DDR games played by both groups gave them cardiovascular benefits. This conclusion is an example of Inferential statistics where we generalize about a large population based on observations from a small sample.

Thus the conclusion that both groups of overweight and non-overweight got cardiovascular benefit from playing DDR games requires Inferential statistics.
