Let

p--------> number of additional people who can enter the pool

we know that

the maximum capacity of the pool is 600\ people

so

the inequality is

430+p \leq 600

p \leq 600-430

p \leq 170

the solution is the interval ----------> (-∞,170]

but remember that the number of people can't be a negative number

so

the solution is the interval -------> [0,170]

therefore

the answer is

The inequality is equal to 430+p \leq 600

P >= 430, because the pool has 430 people in there at the moment and we can assume that it is full or it has more space for more people, so p will equal 430 or greater.

A spinner with 4 congruent sectors labeled 1-4 is spun. Then a die is rolled. What is the probability of getting even numbers on
SOVA2 [1]
The spinner is divided into 4 equal sections number 1 to 4.

So, for spinner, total sections = 4
Favorable sections = 2 (i.e sections with even numbers)

So, probability of getting even number on the spinner = 2/4 = 1/2

Total number of outcome when a dice is rolled = 6
Favorable outcomes= 3 (i.e outcomes with 2,4 and 6)

So, probability of getting an even number = 3/6 = 1/2

Since both events are independent, we can write:

The probability of getting an even number in both events = 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4

Nata [24]

Answer:

The Rome data center is best described by the mean. The New York data center is best described by the median

Step-by-step explanation:

Before moving forward, first we should understand that what is mean and median. Mean is the average of all the values in the data set. Median is the middle value of the data set in ascending order. As we noticed that there is an outlier in the data for NEW YORK (An outlier is an extreme value in the data set which is much higher or lower as compared to other numbers. It affects the mean value). Since outlier is found in the data of New York therefore mean is not a good representation on the central tendency of the data and gets distorted by the outlier. Therefore it is better to use median. While Rome does not have any outlier, so we can use mean for this.

Therefore we can say that the Rome data center is best described by the mean. The New York data center is best described by the median.

Thus option C is correct....
