I think the best times to check in is when the news just breaks and to get updated after some time. Usually news organizations spend a lot of time speculating when a live event unfolds so it is best to check back every 30 min to an hour unless your really interested in seeing things happen in realtime.

Over [174]

Social critics like Charles dickens were different from romantic artists in that they wrote about society and not the individual.

Explanation:

The social realists of the 1850's came as a response of the Industrialization of England and their noticing of the ever increasing divide between the rich and the poor.

Romanticism too was an early response to industrialization but in a different vein.

It was about the assertion of individuality in the face of new developments in the society.

The social realists understood civil rights and living conditions of the poor as the paramount subject to write about as social injustice pervaded the society in Victorian England.

mafiozo [28]

Answer:

she creates a positive externality for Kara and a negative externality for Susie

Explanation:

Susie lives in a dorm and likes to play loud music in her room. Her neighbor Kara enjoys the same type of music and gets pleasure from Susie turning up the music. Her other neighbor, Alex, can't stand Susie's music and gets mad when she turns it up for all to hear. When Susie plays her music loudly, she creates a positive externality for Kara and a negative externality for Susie. Externalities are defined as the cost or benefit affecting an individual who is not directly involved in an activity such as the production of a good or the rendering of a service. Externalities can be positive if an individual benefits from the activity. That the effect of the activity on a third party is beneficial such as Kara who benefits/enjoys Susie's music and externalities can also be negative if the activity is detrimental to the individual such as Alex who is uncomfortable with Susie's loud music.

bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Samantha is describing her self-concept.

Explanation:

In psychology, we can think of self-concept as the beliefs we have about ourselves, the way we perceive our abilities, behaviors, and characteristics. It is our self-concept that usually answers the question, "Who am I?". Self-concept interacts with self-knowledge and self-esteem, forming a mental picture of how we see ourselves. Examples of sentences that express self-concept are "I am a good daughter," or "I am a skilled athlete." When Samantha says that she is a sophomore, that she likes Taylor Swift, or what he favorite show is, she is describing her self-concept - her ideas of what defines her.
