Answer: There are 20 girls who preferred insta.
Step-by-step explanation:
Since we have given that
Total number of students who were surveyed = 100
Number of boys who preferred insta among 50 boys = 40
Number of girls who preferred snpchat among 50 girls = 30
We need to find the number of girls who preferred insta.
So, Number of girls who preferred insta = Total number of girls - Number of girls who preferred snpchat.

Hence, there are 20 girls who preferred insta.
Answer:
Sierra studied 3 hours
William studied 2 hours
Step-by-step explanation:
jonah studied 6 hours.
He also studied 3 hours longer than sierra meanining sierra studied 3 hours less than 6 hours.
So, 6 hours minus 3 hours is equals to 3 hours.
With that being said, Sierra has studied 3 hours.
Sierra = 3 hours
The question then states that Jonah studied 3 times as many hours as William.
Reminder: Jonah studied 6 hours in total.
This means that jonahs' hours (6 hours) is equals to 3 times williams hours (3x)
6 hours= 3x
x= williams hours
we divide both sides by 3 to see what x is equals to
in other words, we divide Jonahs' hours to see what williams hours are
With that being said, William studied for 2 hours
2 hours = x
Answer
The answer is C. Trina is not correct because the two sides of the equation are equivalent.
Step-by-step explanation:
1. solve for x
-8(x - 4) + 2x = -4(x - 8) -2x
-8x + 32 + 2x = -4x + 32 -2x
-6x + 32 = - 6x + 32
0 = 0
This equation has infinite solutions, any rational number fits as solution for x in this equation. And as we can see both sides of it are equivalent.
Therefore, the correct answer is C. Trina is not correct because the two sides of the equation are equivalent.

I say it is C. Basically I just eliminate the potential answered down. A could not be the one since not all student in 2nd period got 100% and average students got below 95%. B cannot be it since both box plot have the same median. I do not think D is it because of how the answer is told. "The 4th period class should get the reward. Their lowest score is an outlier, and should be thrown out," it sound childish and makeing a joke to put "and should be thrown out." I may be wrong but that is my opinion. The relatively the best and reasonable answer is C.
