Look at the picture. The numbers refer to why i said that this relationship is not possible and the yellow line means we alrady found this person, so we don't have to search anymore!

1) since Norma and Drake are not related, they can't be the same person.
2) If Bradley is related to Drake then he would be related to Norma- but they can't coz we know that they're not related! So Bradley and Norma are not related, and they can't be the same person
3) Kermit is a year older than Bradley - so they can't be the same person
4) let's look at the genders: Norma is female, and since Atley and Cursen are related, and Cursen is Atley's brother, then she must be Atley!!!

So we have one name: Norma Atley

Now, Drake must be the other woman: Marlene

5) - the only possibility we have left for Kermit now is Cursen! (since it can't be Bradly)

and we're left with Bradley Leonard!!!

This is how the chart will look like:
              Kermit Leonard Marlene Norma
Atley

Bradley

Cursen

Drake

1. Drake is Bradley's sister.
2. Cursen is Atley's brother
3. Norma and Drake are not related
4. Kermit is a year older than Bradley

Drake is a girl (1), but she is not related to Norma(3), So she is Marlene.
1) MARLENE DRAKE

Drake and Bradley are related; Norma is not related to them(3). Norma can either be Atley or Cursen. But, Cursen is Male. So, Norma is NORMA ATLEY

Remaining family names are Bradley and Cursen. Kermit is not a Bradley, so he is KERMIT CURSEN. That leaves LEONARD BRADLEY.

The ratios in an equivalent ratio table are 3:12, 4:16, and 5:20. If the first number in theratio is 10, what is the Second numb
Zanzabum

Answer:

10:40

Step-by-step explanation:

As the left number increases by 1, the right number increases by 4. So as you can see, the left numbers go 3-4-5 while the right numbers go 12-16-20. So the answer is 10:40 because 10x4=40.

In general, after a group makes a reservation at a restaurant, they do not show up 20% of the time. If a restaurant has 8 reserv
sashaice [31]

Answer:

P(more than 2 don't show up)=0.2031

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplication rule for independent events:

If two events A and B are independent then the multiplication rule state that:

P(A and B)= P(A) x P(B)

Find the probability that more than two do not show up:

The probability that the reservations at the restaurant do not show up is 0.20 (=20%) and there were 8 reservations.

P(more than 2 don't show up)= 1- P(less than or equal to 2 don't show up)

= 1-( P(none show up) +P(one don't show up)+P(two don't show up)

=1- ((0.8⁸) +₈ C₁ (0.2¹)x(0.8⁷) +₈ C₂ (0.2²)x(0.8⁶)

=1- (0.1678 +0.3355+0.2936)= 1-0.7969

P(more than 2 don't show up)=0.2031
