Hypotenuse-Leg (HL) is a special congruence theorem that only applies to right triangles. If you have two triangles where you know
a) One pair of hypotenuses are the same length
AND
b) one pair of legs are the same length
then this means we can prove the right triangles congruent. This theorem does not work for non-right triangles (if non-right triangle, then this is the SSA case that doesn't work all the time)

Cheryl wants to purchase a par value $500 bond from Agram Imports. Agram imports bonds have a market rate of 102.114 and offer 8
viva [34]
According to my study, current yield is calculated by using the formula Interest or dividends divided by the current price of the security or simple the current price. So the current price in this given question is 102.114 and the interest is 8.1%, we will simply divide the two; 8.1 / 102.114 = 0.07732310947 or approximately .077. The answer is A.

A candy manufacturer makes two types of special candy, say A and B. Candy A consists of equal parts of dark chocolate and carame
Sphinxa [80]
If we let x as candy A
y as candy B
a as dark chocolate in candy a
b as dark chocolate in candy b
c as caramel
d as walnut
P as profit
we have the equations:
a + c = x
2b + d = y
a + 2b ≤ 360
c ≤ 430
d ≤ 210
P = 285x + 260y

This is an optimization problem which involves linear programming. It can be solved by graphical method or by algebraic solution.
P = 285(a + c) + 260(2b +d)
If we assume a = b
Then a = 120, 2b = 240
P = 285(120 + 120) + 260(240 + 120)
P = 162000
candy A should be = 240
candy B should be = 360

You will note the wheel has 38 slots. There are two green slots (labeled 0, 00) and 36 slots which alternate red/black and are n
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

P(M) = 0.3158

Step-by-step explanation:

Data given in the question:

Total Slots = 38

Green Slots = 2 labelled (0, 00)

Red Slots = 18

Black Slots = 18

E = Ball lands on an even numbered slot

M = Ball lands in a slot that is numbered a multiple of 3

We are required to find the probability of event M. For that, we need to identify how many multiples of 3 are present on the wheel.

Multiples of 3 between 1-36 = 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36

There are a total of 12 slots numbered with multiples of 3.

P(M) = No. of slots numbered a multiple of 3 / Total no. of slots

       = 12/38

P(M) = 0.3158 (rounded to four decimal places).
