Price of elasticity of demand represents the measure of the change in the quantity demanded of a product in relation to its price change. The fact that Jessica buys each month exactly teh same quantity of the roduct (Big Mac) no matter what the price of the product ismeans that Jessica's price elasticity of demand for Big Macs is: 0.

In this situation the price of the product does not affect the demand.

Price elasticity of demand is a measure of the relation between consumer demand for a good and the price for that good. A higher elasticity value means that for each differential change in the price of that good, consumers will buy significantly more or less of the item. However, in this case, the consumer is buying the exact same amount of the product each month, regardless of the price. As such, an economist would say that Jessica's demand for Big Macs is completely inelastic; that is, the value of the price elasticity is zero.

Answer:

The forecast for the next period is 307.6 units

Explanation:

Write the formula to calculate exponential smoothing with trend.

Calculate the values of FIT_{t-1} by substituting the values of the parameters in the formula.

Calculate the value of F₁ by substituting the required values

Calculate T₁

FIT₁ = F₁ + T₁

      = 302 + 5.6

A company has a complicated Sales process regarding its opportunities. The company has three different lines of business (Widget
dalvyx [7]

Answer:

A. Create three Record Types (Widget A, Widget B, Widget C) with six Page Layouts (Sales Widget A, Sales Widget B, Sales Widget C, Marketing Widget A, Marketing Widget B, and Marketing Widget C).

Explanation:

This question is about Salesforce, and the reason I chose A is because:

  • Option B is not correct because ti would be too messy to use only one Record type.
  • Option C is not correct because you need a 6 page layout and that option includes only a 1 page layout.
  • Option D is unnecessarily complicated since you can use only 3 record types and using 6 would not help you at anything.

Marina CMI [18]

Answer:

Consider the following calculations

Explanation:

People end up tossing 12% of what they buy at the grocery store (Reader's Digest, March, 2009). Assume this is the true population proportion and that you plan to take a sample survey of 540 grocery shoppers to further investigate their behavior.

a- Show the sampling distribution of ( p¯ ), the proportion of groceries thrown out by your sample respondents

sampling distribution of ( p¯ ) is normal with

mean = 0.12   and

standard error = sqrt(p(1-p)/n) = sqrt(0.12*0.88/540) =0.0140

b- what is the probability that the sample proportion will be within ±.03 of the population proportion?

z value for 0.03 difference, z=0.03/0.014 =2.14

The required P= P( -2.14<z<2.14) = P( z <2.14) – P( z <-2.14)

=0.9838 - 0.0162

=0.9676

c- what is the probability that your survey will provide a sample proportion within ±.015 of the population proportion?

z value for 0.015 difference, z=0.015/0.014 =1.07

The required P= P( -1.07<z<1.07) = P( z <1.07) – P( z <-1.07)

=0.8577 - 0.1423

=0.7154

d- What would be the effect of taking a larger sample on the probabilities in parts (b) and (c)? Why?

Taking a larger sample will decrease the standard error. The probabilities in parts (b) and (c) will increase.

swenson Saws produces bows, frame, dovetail, and tenon saws used by craft furniture makers. During an 8-hour shift, a saw is pro
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

Given: Total shift time = 8 hours = 8 * 60 = 480 minutes

time required for production of one saw = 6 minutes

Demand for Bow saw = Demand for frame saw = Demand for dovetail saw = 1/2 * Demand of Tenon saw

a) Mixed model schedule:

Mixed model schedule

Product no. per batch

Bow Saw 1

Frame Saw 1

Dovetail Saw 1

Tenon Saw 2

Total 5

Therefore 2 Tenon Saw, and each bow, frame, and dovetail saws will be produced before the cycle is repeated.

b) 2 Tenon Saw, 1 bow, 1 frame, and 1 dovetail saws will be produced under production sequence for one unit production.

The length of cycle will be 5*6=30 minutes i.e. the cycle will repeat once in 30 minutes for 8 hours means totally it will repeat 16 times during one shift.

c) Number of saws Swenson produce in one shift = Number of Bow saw Swenson produce in one shift + Number of Frame saw Swenson produce in one shift + Number of Dovetail saw Swenson produce in one shift + Number of Tenon saw Swenson produce in one shift
