Which is a substantiated opinion?
Kisachek [45]
To be a substantiated opinion, you must have evidence to back it up or be able to point to something to back it up.

Answer: A. The writer states a fact that can be checked by simply going to the large computer company and seeing where is began.

You would need a lot more evidence to prove that small businesses are the reason America has a strong economy.

Option "C" cannot be backed up with a specific fact easily.

Letter "D" would be a more generic statement.

Visit these three sources, perform preliminary and secondary evaluations of them, and select which two
Crank

You didn't talk about what your research was about. However, we can select the sources according to assumptions about what you are researching.

If your research is on healthy eating for children and adolescents, or nutritional problems among children and adolescents, the best sources are "Adolescent Nutrition" and "Eat Healthy." This is because these two sources of research show general information about the importance of good nutrition in several factors of our life and how this good nutrition is crucial for the good development and performance of adolescents.

If your research is about the importance of good nutrition or about health problems related to poor nutrition like obesity and cardiovascular problems, the best sources of research will be "Eat Healthy" and "10 Tips: Add More Vegetables to Your Day." This is because in addition to bringing information about the importance of having a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet, it shows how to add healthier materials to your diet, such as vegetables.
