Answer: The answer is 232.5

Step-by-step explanation:First you to set up the proportion. If 80% equals to 12. You Would do 80 over hundred becuase percent is out of hundred (80/100) then you would do 12 over x or any other variable. FROM there on you would to the butter fly method. Cross multiply . ( 80 times variable, 12 times 100) now to isolate the variable you have to do inverse operation. So now do 1200 divided by 80 . And 80 divided by 80. Now you know.

X=15.

But were no done yet lol. Now do length times width times height to get the volume. 15 times 2 times 31/4 (7 3/4) . now we're done. Your welcome

We will take the volume of each box separately to find the difference between them.
 We have then that the volume of the boxes is:
 V = (L) * (W) * (h)
 Where,
 L: long
 W: width
 h: height
 The smaller box:
 V1 = (12) * (2) * (7 3/4)
 V1 = 186 in ^ 3
 the lager box:
 V2 = (12) * (2) * ((7 3/4) * (100/80))
 V2 = 232.5 in ^ 3
 The difference is:
 V2-V1 = 232.5 in ^ 3 - 186 in ^ 3 = 46.5 in ^ 3
 Answer:
 The difference in the volumes of the two boxes is:
 46.5 in ^ 3

At 9:00 on Saturday morning, two bicyclists heading in opposite directions pass each other on a bicycle path. The bicyclist head
7nadin3 [17]
Let x be the rate of the slower bicyclist and
      x + 4 be the rate of the faster bicyclist

Since the bicyclists are headed towards opposite directions, the sum of the distances they covered traveling for one hour and 15 minutes should be equal to 40 km based on the given conditions above. This may be expressed as,

                                   (x)(1.25) + (x + 4)(1.25) = 40

Calculating gives x = 14

Thus, the rate of the bicyclists are 14 km/h and 18 km/h.

Explain how to write an equivalent expression using the associative property.
posledela

Answer:

11+(2+y)

Step-by-step explanation:

The associative property says that you can move numbers inside the parentheses around if all the numbers are the same operation in a simple sense

So that means in this case: 2+(11+y)

We can switch the 2 and the 11 around since they are both the same, addition.

11+(2+y)

After all costs are split evenly, how much does Max owe Becky? Help please tysm!
raketka [301]
The question is Max owes Becky for the movie how much.. the pizza information is a distractor.

Max has a coupon for 1/2 off a third movie ticket when 2 are purchased for regular price of $9.80

2 x (9.80) + 1/2 x (9.80) = 19.60 + 4.90 = $24.50 total all 3 tickets

Since they agree to split the cost equally, divide total cost by 3
24.50 / 3 = $8.16 each

The answer is: Between $8 and $10
