Which of the following is an example of externally caused behavior? A) An employee was promoted because he was hard working. B)
Oxana [17]

Answer:

C) An employee is late because of a flat tire

Explanation:

An externally caused behavior is behaviour that we attribute to situational factors and not the individual(internal attribution). An externally caused behavior is imagined or perceived to not be in the persons control as opposed to internally caused behavior or attribution that believes a person's behaviour is the person's fault or within the person's control.

If a juvenile joins a gang in which he achieves his status through violence and toughness, which type of gang is he in according
kozerog [31]
According to Cloward and Ohlin's theory, there are three subcultures juveniles may enter:
Criminal subcultures
Conflict subcultures
Retreatist subcultures

Criminal subcultures gear towards organized crimes, where they commit criminal acts to climb the social ladder in the criminal world and are rewarded through financial means.

Conflict subcultures on the other hand tend to do less serious crimes, but instead use violence as a way to gain respect.

Retreatist subcultures turn to drugs and alcohol, seeing themselves as rejects.

With that, the answer would be Conflict subcultures or a conflict gang.

Suppose 60% of a population of part-time college students is female. In a simulation, we collected thousands of random samples f
Sedaia [141]

Answer:

Explanation: The mean of the sample proportions that will be obtained from simulating thousands of random samples from a population of college student will be 0.6. This is so because :

The random sample obtained for use in the simulation were randomly selected from the population of college students. Randomized selection from the population will provide an unbiased selection of students used in the sample Therefore giving a good approximate representation of the population proportion.

Also, the size of the sample population impacts the ability of the sample statistics to generalize on the population data. The larger the size of the random samples adopted, the closer our approximation about the population. Here, with a random sample size running to thousands, the mean of the sample proportion will be just as close or equal to the population proportion.
