You need to create a spinner which accurately represents the habits of her customers and allower her to predict what the probability would be that 3/4 customers to visit will return within two weeks.  She knows that 80% of her customers return.
Keeping all that in mind mate, you can see that she'll need a spinner divided into five equal spaces and she'll need to spin it 4 times to get an accurate representation.   Hope this helped!

Rina8888 [55]

Answer:

3 - (n - 1) = 1/2(3n - 4)

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to write three minus the difference of a number and one equals one-half of the difference of three times the same number and four as an equation.

Let the number be n.

The first part is: three minus the difference of a number and one:

3 - (n - 1)

The second part is: one-half of the difference of three times the same number and four:

1/2(3n - 4)

Now, let us equate the first and second parts:

3 - (n - 1) = 1/2(3n - 4)

Mike earned x dollars the first week of his new job. He earned 5% more the second week than the first week. Which expression rep
gregori [183]

The expression represents the total amount of money Mike earned for both weeks is 2.05x dollars

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that, Mike earned x dollars the first week of his new job

He earned 5% more the second week than the first week

To find: Total amount earned in both weeks

From given,

Amount earned in first week = "x" dollars

Amount earned in second week = 5 % more than first week

Therefore,

Amount earned in second week = x + 5 % of x

\rightarrow x + 5 \% \times x\\\\\rightarrow x + \frac{5}{100} \times x\\\\\rightarrow x + 0.05x = 1.05x

Thus amount earned in second week = 1.05x dollars

<em><u>The total amount earned in both weeks:</u></em>

Total amount = Amount earned in first week + Amount earned in second week

Total\ Amount = x + 1.05x = 2.05x

Thus the expression represents the total amount of money Mike earned for both weeks is 2.05x dollars
