The answer is Salted Password Hashing.  The process is similar to hashing., but with a twist. A random value is introduced for each user. This salt value<span> is included with the password when the hash value is calculated and is stored with the user record. Including the salt value means that two users with the same password will have different password hashes.</span>

Answer:

Below!

Explanation:

This is the code I have. I am not sure what I am missing that it won't accept -

import java.util.Scanner;

class Dollars {

   public static void main(String[] args) {

            int numTwenties,numTens,numFives,numOnes,dollarAmount;

       Scanner sc= new Scanner(System.in);

       System.out.println("Please enter a dollar amount: ");

       dollarAmount = sc.nextInt();

        numTwenties = dollarAmount/20;

        numTens = (dollarAmount - 20*numTwenties)/10;

        numFives = (dollarAmount - (10*numTens + 20*numTwenties))/5;

        numOnes = (dollarAmount - (10*numTens + 20*numTwenties + 5*numFives));

       System.out.println(+ dollarAmount + " converted is" + numTwenties + " $20s, " + numTens + " $10s, " + numFives + " $5s, and " + numOnes + " $1s.");

   }

}

This is what it is giving me -

Iris called the company’s security hotline. The hotline is an anonymous way to report suspi- cious activity or abuse of company
marishachu [46]

Answer 1 :

if Iris had approached Henry, it might had become a personal matter rather than professional. Following the proper protocol is the best way to report in any organization.

Answer 2 :

Yes, Gladys should call the legal authorities. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is the best agency to file a complaint prevention of corruption within a company.

Answer 3 :

Yes, she should have followed her chain of command because that is one of the many questions that an investigator will ask is if she reported it to her supervisor and human resources. Somehow in companies they use that term when it is somewhat of a legal issue. Internally if she knew the IT director and the security office she could have gone to them along with human resources. Outside I would say start with her local police department and they may have directed her to the proper channel.

Answer 4 :

What Henry did was not ethical even in the slightest. He used the flash drive without permission from the company, he knew he shouldn’t have, but he did it anyway. It is acted in a complete ethical way. If Iris had left this in a coffee station and forgot about it, then it would have been unethical behavior because she knew about it but didn’t whistle blow. There are security laws that get violated in this issue which is why it is unethical and troublesome.

Consider an unpipelined or single-stage processor design like the one discussed in slide 6 of lecture 17. At the start of a cycl
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

a. Clock Speed of Processor = 0.5 GHz

b. Cycles per Instruction (CPI) = 1 Clock per Instruction

c. Throughput = 1 billion Instruction per Second

Explanation

Given Data

Time Take to complete the single Cycle = 2000ps = 2000 x 10⁻¹²

To Find

a. Clock Speed of Processor = ?

b. Cycles per Instruction (CPI) = ?

c. Throughput = ?

Solution:

a. Clock Speed of Processor = ?

Clock Speed = 1/Time to complete the cycle

                      = 1/2000 x 10⁻¹²  Hz

                      =  0.0005 x 10¹²  Hz

                      =  0.5 x 10⁹  Hz                             as   10⁹ = 1 Giga   so,

                      = 0.5 GHz

b. Cycles per Instruction (CPI) = ?

It is mentioned that, each instruction should start at the start of the new cycle and completely processed at the end of that cycle so, we can say that Cycles per Instruction (CPI) = 1

for above mentioned processor.

c. Throughput = ?

Throughput = CPI x Clock Speed

where

CPI = 1 cycle per instruction

Clock Speed = 1 billion Instructions per Second

as

Clock Speed = 1 billion Cycles per Second

Throughput = 1 cycle per instruction x 1 billion Cycles per Second

Throughput = 1 billion Instruction per Second
