The men in group A who consumed the most chocolate per week has a lower cases of stroke compare to group B because  high chocolate consumption was associated with a lower risk of stroke. In laboratory studies, dark chocolate contain flavonoids that have been shown to have an antioxidant, antiplatelet, and anti-inflammatory effect that may lower cardiovascular diseases.

Eating Chocolate can reduce risk of stroke in men.  Flavonoids in chocolate  is believe to be a good effect against stroke.. Flavonoids has antioxidant, anti-clotting and anti-inflammatory properties, which is  protective against cardiovascular disease.  Flavonoids in chocolate is also believed to decrease blood concentrations of bad cholesterol and reduce blood pressure.
