The immune system is a biological system in an organism consisting of a coordinated set of elements of recognition and defence that discriminates against the self of non-self. To resume, the immune system protects us against infection from bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites.

Back to the hypothesis: If a higher percentage of people are immune to a disease, then the rate at which a disease spreads is lower because the immunized people carry fewer infections so it cannot be spread between people.

Primary spermatocytes are diploid (2n) cells with all of the organelles typically found in eukaryotic animal cells. Spermatogene
Aneli [31]

Answer: a. Genetic recombination (crossing over)

b. Can also be explained in terms of crossing over

c. Non disjunction of homologous chromosomes in meiosis 1

Explanation:

The process that allows for the transfer of both the paternal and maternal materials to is the crossing over process that takes at meiosis 1 changing them to secondary spermatocytes. While they are still primary spermatocytes, they are still diploid cells having both the maternal and paternal chromosomes. But since the spermatozoon is an haploid cell, it is able to retail some of both parents chromosome by the crossing over event which takes place between homologous paternal and maternal chromosomes allowing them to exchange materials. Thus the chromosomal contents of the primary spermatocyte differs from that of the spermatozoon.

C. This can occur as a result of the one of the homologous chromosome pair refusing to separate at meiosis 1 with one gamete containing 4 chromosomes/8 sister chromatids and the second having 2 chromosomes/4 sister chromatids.

What is your hypothesis regarding difference in urine "chloride" concentration between subjects who drank water and subjects who
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

Chloride concentration in urine is more who drank sport drink as compared to a person who drank normal water.

Explanation:

Chloride concentration in urine is high who drank sport drink as compared to a person who drank water because in sport drink there is more concentration of salts are present which is required our body. Due to more salts present in the sport drink, more chloride is present in urine due to the removal from the body while normal water has less amount of salts so urine has less concentration of chloride in urine.

Which two phrases describe a situation that will cause a stationary object to start moving?
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

A .a net force greater than zero

B. Unbalanced Force

Explanation:

A .When the resultant force on an object is zero, it will remain at rest if it is at rest, or continue to move in a straight line at a constant velocity if it is in motion. So , the answer will be a net force greater than zero .

B . An unbalanced force (net force) acting on an object changes its speed and/or direction of motion. An unbalanced force is an unopposed force that causes a change in motion. A net force = unbalanced force. So , the answer will be unbalanced forces .
