To solve this problem  you must apply the proccedure shown below:
 1. By definition, you can calculate an oodd number by using the following expression:
 2n+1
 2. The problem says the measures of the interior angles of convex quadrilateral are four consecutive odd numbers. By definition, the sum of the interior angles of a convex quadrilateral is 360 degrees.
 3. Therefore, you have:
 (2n+1)+(2n+3)+(2n+5)+(2n+7)=360
 4. Now, solve for n:
 8n+16=360 \\  n=43
 5. The measure of the largest angle is:
 =2n+7 \\ =2(43)+7 \\ =93 degrees
 The answer is: 93 degrees

In the roof truss, line BG bisects ∠ABC and ∠DEF, m∠ABC= 112°, and ∠ABC≅∠DEF.
Dennis_Churaev [7]

In the given diagram,  line BG bisects ∠ABC and ∠DEF, m∠ABC= 112°, and ∠ABC≅∠DEF.  So the measure of angles are :

1. m∠DEF=  112° because ∠ABC≅∠DEF

2. m∠ABG=  56° because a straight line BG is bisecting ∠ABC in two equal parts. So, \frac{112}{2} = 56

3. m∠CBG=  56° because ∠ABG and ∠CBG are equal.

4. m∠DEG=  56° because ∠ABG ≅ ∠DEG

Eudora ran from her home to her secret laboratory at an average speed of 12\text{ km/h}12 km/h12, start text, space, k, m, slash
OleMash [197]

Answer:

Eudora spent 0.5 hours from home to library and 1.5 hours from library to school

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Home to Library:

S_1 = 12km/h -- Average Speed

Library to School

S_2 = 76km/h -- Average Speed

Total

Distance = 120km

Time = 2\ hr

Required

Determine the time taken from home to library and from library to school

Let the time spent from home to library  be x. So, from library to school will be: 2 - x

So, we have:

Home to Library:

S_1 = 12km/h -- Average Speed

T_1 =x -- Time

Library to School

S_2 = 76km/h -- Average Speed

T_2 =2 - x -- Time

Distance is calculated as:

Distance = Speed * Time

Home to Library:

D_1 = S_1 * T_1

D_1 = 12 * x

D_1 = 12x

Library to School:

D_2 = S_2 * T_2

D_2 = 76 * (2- x)

D_2 = 152- 76x

The total distance is 120km. So, we have:

120km = D_1 + D_2

120 = 12x + 152 - 76x

Collect Like Terms

120 - 152 = 12x - 76x

-32 = -64x

-64x=-32

Solve for x

x = \frac{-32}{-64}

x = 0.5

Recall that:

T_1 =x

T_2 = 2 - x

So, we have:

T_1 = 0.5

T_2 = 2 -0.5 = 1.5

Jeremy analyses one of his parachute jumps.
NikAS [45]

Answer:

A.) Acceleration = 4.6 m/s^2

B.) Average speed = 47 m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

A.) From the graph, at t = 10s,

Velocity V = 46 m/s

Acceleration a = (change in V)/ time t

a = (46 - 0)/10

a = 46/10 = 4.6 m/s^2

B.) If we estimate the speed at 5 seconds intervals, then we have

Average speed = (36 + 46 + 49 + 50 + 50 +50 + 50) ÷ 7

Average speed = 331/7 = 47.29 m/s

Average speed = 47 m/s
