On first week

Quantity of tomato = 25 tons

profit per ton = $250

So if she sells tomato on first week then total profit = 25 * 250 = $6250

On second week

Quantity of tomato =27 ton

profit per kg =$ 235

So if she sells tomato on second week then total profit =27* 235= $6345

On third week

Quantity of tomato = 29 ton

Profit per kg = $220

So if she sells tomato on third week then total profit = 29*220 = $6380

Now consider fourth week

Quantity of tomato =31 ton

Price per kg = $205

So if she sells tomato on fourth week then total profit =31*205 = $6355

so she must ship her tomatoes on third week i.e she will attain $ 6380 as profit.

Sonja [21]
First, we solve for the number of minutes in 7 and 3/5 hours by multiplying the number by 60 giving us,
                            (7 + 3/5) x (60) = 456 minutes
Spending 30 minutes for lunch will leave her with 426 minutes. Then, spending 42 minutes for switching of classes will finally give her 414 minutes.

We then divide this value by 6 (for her 6 classes) giving us 69 minutes. Thus, each class is 69 minutes long.

Two percent of the customers of a store buy cigars. Half of the customers who buy cigars buy beer. 25 percent who buy beer buy c
enyata [817]

Answer:

0.95

Step-by-step explanation:

The computation of the probability that a customer neither buys beer nor buys cigars is given below;

Given that, the probabilities are

The customers who purchased cigars be 0.02

The customers who purchased cigars + beer 0.50

And, the customers who purchased beer + cigars be 0.25

Now the probabilities where the customer purchased both

= 0.05 × 0.02

= 0.10

The probability where the customer purchased beer is

= 0.01 ÷ 0.25

= 0.04

Now the probability where a customer neither buys beer nor buys cigars is

= 1 - 0.02 + 0.04 - 0.01

= 0.95

Suppose that the light from the pinhole projects onto a screen 3.00 meters away. What is the radius r1 of the first dark ring on
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

16 mm

Step-by-step explanation:

The next information is misssing: The first dark ring can be found at angle 0.305 degrees.

A rigth triangle is formed in wich one leg is the radius r1 of the first dark ring and the other leg is the distance between the screen and the laser (L), which is equal to 3 meters.

Using the relationship sinθ≈tanθ we get:

tanθ = r1/L

tan 0.305  = r1 / 3

r1 =  tan(0.305°) * 3 m

r1 = 0.016 m = 16 mm
