Even though Canada is the second largest country in the world, it's population doesn't reach the 35 million. This is specially challenging because the density of the population concentrates on the southern border of the country. This is where the economic development of the country takes place. Because of the harsher northern climate, the provincial politics, trade and transportation, national security and foreign policy are a special challenge. Even though all of this hardships, Canada is one of the most thriving countries in the world.
