First you add up how much the teenagers were in total and that would be $15 then add up children then thats $32 add the teen and children thats $47 than didvids 5300 by 47 and thats 112.7 then round 123 and divide by 6 and thats 20.5 then its equal to 21 adults.

Answer:

300

Step-by-step explanation:

6a + 5t + 4c = 5300

a + t + c = 1200

(8/3)*t = c

6a+4c+5t = 5300

a+c+t = 1200

3c-8t = 0

a = 100

c = 800

t = 300

Joey is measuring the amount of time it takes for a frisbee to fly through the air he uses a stopwatch to time it and find that
marissa [1.9K]

Answer:percent error in Joey's measurement to the nearest 10th of a percent =- 4.6%

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1

Time as recorded by the stopwatch = 4.82 seconds

Real Time it takes for a Frisbee to fly through the air =5.05 seconds

percent error = Measured value – True Value /True value x 100.

= 4.82 - 5.05 / 5.05 x 100

=-0.23/5.05

=-0.0455 x 100

=4.5544%

Rounding to nearest 10th of a percent = - 4.6%

IXL S.8!!!! Anthony has been training for the helpful pups charity race. The first week he trained, he ran four days and at the
vivado [14]

Anthony ran 5.5 miles each day after school

Let x represent the amount of mile he covered at the park after school. Since he ran 1.5 miles each day before school, the total distance covered each day is:

Total distance covered each day = Distance ran before school + Distance ran after school

Total distance covered each day = 1.5 + x

Since he ran for 4 days in a week, hence:

Total distance ran in a week = 4 days × (1.5 + x)

Total distance ran in a week = 4x + 6

But at the end of the week he ran 28 miles, hence:

4x + 6 = 28

4x = 22

x = 5.5 miles

Hence Anthony ran 5.5 miles each day after school

A bike wheel is shown. Chords I J and L K intersect at point M. The length of I M is 16 centimeters, the length of M J is 7 cent
levacccp [35]

Answer:

The diameter of the wheel is 32 centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The intersecting chords theorem states that the products of the lengths of the line segments on each chord are equal.

so

In this problem

(LM)(MK)=(IM)(MJ)

substitute the given values

(4)(x)=(16)(7)

solve for x

x=16(7)/4\\x=28\ cm

Remember that

LK goes through the center of the wheel

That means----> LK is a diameter

LK=4+x\\LK=4+28=32\ cm

therefore

The diameter of the wheel is 32 centimeters

If value of cos330° is √3/2 then find tan165°.
Umnica [9.8K]

Answer:

-2+sqrt(3)

Step-by-step explanation:

When cos(angle)=sqrt(3)/2

then sin(of that angle)= + or - 1/2 depending on the quadrant

Anyways 330 degrees is in the 4 quadrant. Cosine is positive there while sine is negative.

so sin(330)=-1/2

Formula for tan(x/2)=(1-cos(x))/sin(x)

Therefore tan(165)=tan(330/2)=(1-cos(330))/sin(330)=(1-sqrt(3)/2)/(-1/2)

Multiply top and bottom by 2 to get

tan(165)=(2-sqrt(3))/-1

tan(165)=-2+sqrt(3)
