$14.8 was the markup, And the price went up in 22%, how I got my answer!

I first found that adding $64+$14.8=$78.8, and for percentage, that took awhile. At first I thought that it would be 20% but upon further investigation I found that, 22% Of $64 is $14.8.

I hope this helps!

P.S. 20% of $64 is $12.8.

Today the price of a Jeep is $25,000. In 1970, the price was $5,000. What's the price relative?
asambeis [7]

Solution:

we are given with

Today the price of a Jeep is $25,000. In 1970, the price was $5,000.

So we can write

The price of a Jeep, today = $25,000

The price of a Jeep,in 1970 = $ 5,000

Relative Price means price of a good relative to other. Its a ratio of the two goods times 100.

Price \ \ relative =\frac{25000}{5000}*100\\ \\ \ Price \ \ relative =5*100=500\\ \\

Hence the price relative is $500/-

Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

Option c (Upper tailed) is the correct choice.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

The average attendance is:

= 74,900

We will have to test:

⇒ H_0:\mu \leq \mu_0

or,

   H_0: \mu \leq 74,900

Verses,

⇒ H_1: \mu> \mu_0

or,

    H_1: \mu >74,900

The other given alternatives aren't connected to the given scenario. So the above is the correct one.

A reporter for a large sports television network wants to determine if "homefield advantage" is dependent upon the sport. He col
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

with 0.10 level of significance the P-VALUE that would be used in the hypothesis claim is 0.05%

Step-by-step explanation:

In hypothesis testing in statistics, we can say that the p-value is a probability of obtaining test results when we assume that the null hypothesis is correct.

The p-value is the probability that the null hypothesis is true.

A p-value less than or equals to 0.05  is statistically significant. It shows strong evidence against the null hypothesis, meaning  there is less than a 5% probability the null is correct and clearly we can say that the results are random.
