D. Marjane wants to be a prophet to fix the world’s injustices.

She wants the family's maid to eat with them and not be banished to the kitchen during meals. She doesn't want her father to be driving a cadillac. She also does not want her grandmother's knees to hurt. She feels that if she's a prophet, she would be able to fix all of these problems. Option B doesn't work because it won't fix the problems with her grandmother's knees. None of her concerns have anything to do with fate or embarrassment so these options are also incorrect.

American poets, novelists, and other writers often write about the topic of American identity. In this lesson, you have read exc
exis [7]

Both the authors delve into the theme of Governmental control and the theme of facade of freedom imbibed in Americans.

Explanation:

<u>The first story uses the mechanical absurdity of executive decisions and how they are removed from the experience of the common peopl</u>e. It uses a single narration, almost dried out in its approach to use this and convey the theme.

"<u>Mericans' is more of a story from the perspective of an outsider about the stereotypical America</u> and how their experience is influenced by what they think about the outsiders and are proud about things they have no control over.

Jonathan should try to figure out what exactly bothers him about his background, and whether this is fair. He could also try to change some of the things he dislikes. If he realizes that his complaints are unfair, he could try to look for groups that are very accepting, or that have a lot in common with him, and try to join these first. If none of this works, Jonathan could try to talk to a therapist who might be able to help him work through these negative feelings.

Explanation:

Using someone's words in your document by copying them exactly or partially is called pilgrim.

The main two types of pilgrims are:

  • Direct copying
  • Word switching / paraphrasing

Direct copying:

Copying someone's same words from worksheets, web page, document, a book, an article, or from any other source and claim it to be your own words without mentioning the source from where the content is taken is a form of pilgrim called direct copying.

Word switching / paraphrasing:

Using someone's words partially (taking parts of sentences or words) into your document is called word switching or paraphrasing. Changing the sequence of someone's word and using them into your document without mentioning the original source is called word switching.

Le guin purposely misleads her reader as to the true identity of the narrator how does this technique help the reader understand
arsen [322]
Until the very end of the story, we don't get to realize that the narrator is a wolf, and her husband a werewolf. This adds to the suspense of the story, and we eventually get to understand the roots of her behavior: a werewolf is something in between a wolf and a human. Therefore, it is something unclean and uncanny, even from a wolf's perspective. A pack of wolves has to kill him because he, being half human, is dangerous for them. His wife has to be a part of this even though she still loves him.
