I will try to to different things than my peers because I am not a sheep and I don't want a group of people to tell me what to do. I am aware that I am unique. I will try not to watch TV all day long and I will try to read more. I will try to work out instead of being in front of a computer all the time.  I will try to cut down on using my cellphone all the time.

In order to minimize the impact that social pressures may have on my academic or work performance, I will adapt my post school routine in four ways:

  1. I will complete all of my homework and studying before hanging out with my friends.
  2. I will prioritize work over my friends. Therefore, I will not ask someone to cover my shift simply because I want to hang out with my friends.
  3. I will go to bed early on Friday and on the weekend if I have to work in the morning.
  4. I will stay off of social media until my academic and work obligations are fulfilled. This way, I won't be distracted by scrolling or by what my friends are doing when I need to be focused on other things.

Hamlet remembers the dead in the graveyard. "Alas, poor Yorick," exclaimsHamlet, as he recalls that Yorick was "a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy," one who "hath borne [Hamlet] on his back a thousand times" (5.1.190-191; 191-192; 192-193).

Which sentence correctly uses a colon? A. I edited the article and found: comma splices, sentence fragments, and misplaced modif
netineya [11]

The answer would be D. "I made just one request for the camping trip: I wanted to stay in a cabin instead of a tent."

Generally colons are used after phrases that are complete sentences. "I made just one request for the camping trip" is a complete sentence, and should therefore have a colon after it.

Write an argumentative essay for or against using public money to maintain national landmarks, such as the gateway Arch in St. L
DanielleElmas [232]

Answer:

A conclusion that is in favour:

"Using public money to maintain national landmarks is a good policy in the sense that a national landmark is a public good: no one can be excluded from enjoying the view of a national landmark like the Arch in St. Louis for example.

Because they are public goods, national landmarks are not likely to be profitable or provided by the private sector in a free market, and for this reason, government intervention in the form of public money becomes necessary".
