Some poor people earn money in gambling, car wash, and car guarding. These economic activities are easy to set up with minimum capital and as a survival strategy for people in poverty and unemployment.

1. Gambling: Why do poor people do gambling? because there is hope. They hope they can get out of their poverty through gambling or hoping to get some quick cash to pay for the bill. A study showed that poor people have a higher rate of gambling compare those with higher income. When someone is desperate, gambling is a bad solution. Instead of winning some cash addicted to gambling lead to deeper poverty.

2. Car wash: a simple car wash is easy to set up and doesn't require a big investment. It is something everyone can do because it does not need special skills or training. With only a small space, a few materials such as a water supply, a hose, a soap, a sponge and a poster board as a sign and you ready to go to make some extra cash.

3. Car guarding is someone who watching your car while you are away. It is an informal sector to organized activity. It provides an opportunity for unemployed and unskilled people to earn income in the informal economy.

Mr. Castillo, a naturalized citizen, previously enrolled in Medicare Part B but has recently stopped paying his Part B premium.
dusya [7]

Answer:

He is not eligible to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan until he re-enrolls in Medicare Part B.

Explanation:

Both Medicare and Medicare Advantage are US health insurance, both are federally maintained, while Medicare serves people under 65, Medicare Advantage provides the advantage of one person paying a month and using medical services, unlike Medicare that payment must be made for each service. Because Medicare Advantage seems to be very beneficial for people with lower incomes, it has some guidelines to follow.

In the case shown in the question above, we can see that Mr. Castillo left Medicare Plan B for lack of payments, but was insured by Plan A and wanted to switch to Medicare Advantage, but what he does not know is that To be insured by Medicare Advantage, he must return to Plan B (in addition to having to pay unpaid payments), so the best thing you can do for Mr. Castillo is to say that he is not eligible to enroll in Medicare Advantage plan until it registers for Medicare Part B.

Explanation:

A macroenvironment is the environment that exists outside an organization. It consists of factors such as the economy of a whole country. An organization has no direct control over the macroenvironment.
