<h2>Answer:</h2>

Number of beads of each color in Yasmin's bag is:

  Red--   30

  Brown--  45

 Orange-- 51

Yellow--  39

<h2>Step-by-step explanation:</h2>

The record of experiment are as follows:

Color                    Red            Brown       Orange  Yellow

Number of Beads     10           15              17      13

Total number of beads recorded=10+15+17+13=55 beads

Also, the Probability of Red bead is=10/55

Probability of Brown bead is=15/55

Probability of Orange bead is=17/55

Probability of Yellow bead is=13/55

Number of red beads in Yasmin's bag are:

\dfrac{10}{55}\times 165=30

Number of brown beads in Yasmin's bag are:

\dfrac{15}{55}\times 165=45

Number of orange beads in Yasmin's bag are:

\dfrac{17}{55}\times 165=51

Number of yellow beads in Yasmin's bag are:

\dfrac{13}{55}\times 165=39

kirill115 [55]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

35 percent of total miles traveled (say T)is 252 miles.

(35/100) * T=252

T=(252*100)/35 => T=720 miles

So total distance the Ramirez family traveled during its vacation is 720 miles

andriy [413]

Answer:

The sides of ∆ABC are 30 units, 40 units, and 60 units long.

The perimeter will be = 30+40+60=130 units

Given is that ∆ABC and ∆XYZ are similar and the corresponding sides of ∆XYZ are 'r' times as long as the sides of ∆ABC.

So, perimeter of ∆XYZ will be : 130\times r=130r units.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The area of ∆ABC is n square units, so area of ∆XYZ will be :

\frac{1}{2}(r\times height)(r\times base)

= n\times r\times r

= nr^{2} square units.

If a baker doubles a recipe that calls for 6-2/3 cups of flour. How many cups will be needed in all?
nadya68 [22]
Hey there!

The easiest way I could think to do this is by converting your mixed number to an improper fraction and multiplying the fraction by 2, or 2 over 1.

6 \frac{2}{3}  = 6*3+2 =  \frac{20}{3}

\frac{20}{3} *  \frac{2}{1}

To multiply fractions, you can just multiply the numerators and denominators and simplify, if applicable.

\frac{20}{3} * \frac{2}{1} = \frac{40}{3}

Since you can't simplify this fraction in its improper form, just convert it back into a mixed number.

\frac{40}{3} = 13 \frac{1}{3}

So, your answer will be 13 \frac{1}{3}.

Hope this helped you out! :-)

In a new card game, you start with a well-shuffled full deck and draw 3 cards without replacement. If you draw 3 hearts, you win
lyudmila [28]

Answer:

Expected pay winning $50= $0.585

Expected pay winning $25= $2.36

Expected pay for anything else= $-4.35

Expected returns=3.59

Expected value for one play= $(-1.41)

Do not play this game because you will lose $1.41

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability P(3 hearts) = (13/52)×(12/51)×(11/50) = 0.013

Probability P(3black)= (26/52)×(24/51)×(23/50) = 0.118

Probability P(drawing anything else)= 1 - 0.013 - 0.118= 0.869

Expected pay($50)= 0.013$(50-5)= $ 0.585

Expected pay($25)= 0.118(25-5)$ = $2.36

Expected pay for anything else= 0.869(0-5)$ =$(-4.347)

Expected value of one play=$ (0.585 + 2.353 -4.347) = -$1.41

c) Do not play the game.
