I'm in 8th, so you ask me anything!

So say you have a number you need to round.

So you can round it in two ways.

First way is using the 4 & 5.

So look at the 4, next to it is the 5. So the determine which way to round you look at that number next to the number your rounding.

So numbers that are next to you DO NOT ROUND!

0,1,2,3,4. These number you do not round.

So say the number was

234

You would round it to 200, because the 3 is under 5.

And then theres rounding the tens,

458, so that's the number we are rounding.

So look at the 5, then look to the right of the 5. It's a 8. That's not 0,1,2,3,4. So you will round up.

Making the number 460.
