When evaluating an argument, the length of the text is the least important aspect to examine. The reason for this is that there is no pattern to establish that a short argument is better than a large one or vice versa. An argument can be extended, but it does not mean that the content it has is real, coherent, consistent, clear or easy to understand by the reader, which are the aspects that truly define a good argument.
