Answer: Option (A) is correct.

Explanation:

Given that,

Money supply increases (M) = 12 percent

Velocity decreases (V) = 4 percent

Price level increases (P) = 5 percent

Real GDP (Y) = ?

According to the quantity theory of money,

Percent Change in M + Percent Change in V = Percent Change in P + Percent Change in Y

                                                         12% - 4% = 5% + Percent Change in Y

                                    Percent Change in Y = 8% - 5%

                                                                         = 3%

Therefore, change in real GDP must be 3%.

The General Fund levies property taxes in the amount of $1,000,000 for calendar year 2019. It expects to collect $950,000 during
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

Under the accrual basis, it should recognize $1,000,000 as property tax revenue for the year 2019.  The remaining $45,000 that it does not collect in year 2019 will be accounted for as Property Tax Receivable while the $5,000 will be recorded as Uncollectible Expense in 2019.

Explanation:

The accrual concept or basis of accounting requires that all revenues and expenses relating to a fiscal year be recognized in that accounting year.  It is not only the actual cash receipts and payments that should be recognized.  This means that any revenue that is due but not yet received will be accounted for in the year that the revenue arises.  And all the related expenses for raising the revenue will also be accounted for in the same year.

During January, 7,000 direct labor hours were worked at a standard cost of $20 per hour. If the direct labor rate variance for J
igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

$17.50

Explanation:

Given that,

Direct labor hours = 7,000

Standard cost = $20 per hour

Direct Labor Rate Variance = $17,500 Favorable

(Standard Rate - Actual Rate) × Actual Hours = $17,500 Favorable

(20 - Actual Rate) × 7,000 = $17,500 Favorable

140,000 - 7,000 Actual Rate = $17,500 Favorable

Therefore,

7,000 Actual rate = (140,000 - $17,500)

Actual rate = 122,500 ÷ 7,000

                  = $17.50
