Younjin is a purchasing agent for Acme Enterprises. One of the products she is responsible for is copier paper for the company's

copiers. The company makes lots and lots of copies so they use more than 60 cases of copier paper each week. Recently, one of her colleagues, Bruce has been complaining that the copiers are jamming a lot. She thinks it might be because the paper is the wrong kind for the company's copiers. Also, the chairman of the board made a speech to all of the employees stating that the company is going to become environmentally sensitive and there will be bonuses for people who can improve the company's environmental record. Younjin had heard that some recycled paper is as good or better than standard copier paper. She decides to re-think where she is buying her copier paper. Younjin will probably treat copier paper as a __________ decision?

Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:

Any cost directly attributable to bring the asset into current location and condition necessary for it to be capable of operating it, in the manner intended by the management ( Para 15) 4.1.1. Clause b

According to this the cost must be allocated to the purchase of land.

There are three scenarios.

1) if the land with a building is purchased with the intention of demolishing an old building and building a new building then selling it all the costs would be assigned to the purchase of land.

2) if the land is purchased with the building on it and that building is used for a short time and then demolished then the building demolish charges would be expense out.

3)if the land with a building is purchased with the intention of demolishing an old building and building a new building then using it then two different costs accounts of land and building would be used. We would not demolish the old building without the new building being made so the demolish would be added in the incremental costs of the new building.

The given question is of the third scenario therefore

Costs of Land = $ 181,000 + $ 15,600 + $ 1400 + 2600= $ 200,600

Incremental Cost of new building = $ 1600

PE = Stock price / Earnings per share

EPS = net Income - dividends/ oustanding Shares

         =$2.1291/$2.13

Sustitute in the formula for PE ratio

24 = Stock Price/2.13

Stock Price = $51.12

Answer:

controlling, organizing, planning, and leading

Explanation:

Based on the scenario being described within the question it can be said that the many plans such as controlling, organizing, planning, and leading are missing from Carol's department. Such as she mentioned Carol's department has not provided any plans to teach her how to advance in her job or even controlled that her department is running efficiently. Along with not encouraging Carol to pursue advancing in the company, it seems that her department has failed in every one of these planning categories.
